According to him, there are Simmons and Ingram and nobody else comes close. I will give him Simmons, but Murray and Ingram are definitely similarly gifted freshmen.

that's not the worst thing he said. he said that he and brent mussberger are doing the uk - ku game.

He also said that Grayson Allen was a top 5 player in the nation. If Duke has one of the top 2 freshman and a top 5 player how did they lose 3 in a row and 2 at home to unranked teams?

Ingram is one of the top freshman players, but to leave out Murray leaves me smh.

He slobbered all over Murray on Saturday. Ingram will go 2nd in this years draft. I love Murray and he will be a lottery pick as well.

Grayson Allen should be a lottery pick now according to Dukie V. Are you kidding me? The guy is a one trick pony going to his right and people afraid to foul him. That's ALL HE DOES. And UK buried his arse.

His head is stuck so far up Dukes ass he cant see anything else ..... But THEY ARE GOING TO BE DANGEROUS WHEN AMILE GETS BACK ... according to Dick Head ... and he just got done how dangerous a Duke run can be

Please translate this in Bill Walton.

I got lei'd when I got off the plane in Hawaii after being at a dead show last night.....the Pac 12 is the conference of Champions, do they play basketball east of the rockies?

Brad Nessler: And Samaki Walker enters the game. Walton: So THIS is what it's come to

Mick Jagger is in better shape than far too many NBA players. It's up in the air whether the same can be said of Keith Richards.

Ingram and Simmons are definitely much better pro prospects. Going by stats up to this point I think you definitely have to take Ingram at this point.

No one is denying how good Simmons and Ingram are and their pro potential but Murray should be included in that conversation. Pro scouts love him and I'd argue he's more physically ready to contribute next year in the NBA than Ingram. NBA SG's or SF's will have their way with him until he gets stronger and heavier.

I'm not sure what has happened but it seems like Vitale has kind of soured on Cal & UK over the last year. He was all up our rear up until last year at some point.

ESPN knows they'd better get their bashing in now. Looked at the headlines on their website and it was "Michigan State gets big win", followed by "Kentucky figures out no one is going to hand them a win" or some such nonsense.

He said he's been following Duke 30 some odd years and said one thing is for sure, Duke always plays hard and will not quit. No shit, every team plays hard and doesn't quit......

Not really. Duke and us have both laid down a few times this year. That's what happens when you replace a large exodus of NBA talent with frosh. They have to learn how to compete. We're getting better at it but Duke is struggling no matter what Vitalis says.

ingram has a 7'3 wingspan and shoots the ball better than murray, and imo he's a better athlete with a better feel for the game

murray is a smallish, under-athletic 2 in the nba

vitale used to passive-aggressively (for him anyway) ridicule the notion that towns was the best prospect last year and he is a terrible and disgusting person, but he's correct on this

What are you talking about? He was slobbering all over us Saturday.

Ingram has tons of pro potential. Not saying he will ever be this good, but his ceiling is like Kevin Durant. I have to admit the kid should be a top 2 pick in the draft.

Hoskins how can you say going by stats you have to take ingram? Murray edges him in pts and assists and ingram has him in rebs.

ingram shoots 6.5 % pts higher from the field, 4 % pts higher from 3, has a better a/to ratio as a 6'9 wing than murray, who was supposed to have pg skills; has more steals and 8x as many blocks

but murray scores .7 pts more per game (in two more minutes) and has more assists so the stats favor him

Murray will be a PG in the NBA, and a damn good one.

Ingram should be the #2 pick in the draft. He just has such rare length to go with his skill set.
