Murray game...

What area of his game would you like to see him improve in.I feel he should drive to the hoop a little more and. tighten up his defense. Other then that i like his game.

I think shot selection and work on the defensive part of his game. He is a good offensive player but his shot selection needs to be better.

Ulis was so on fire for so much of the game and had the ball in his hands so much that murray never really got going even though he scored 15. Last half of the second half we had Kansas in the bonus and the very best thing would have been to have murray drive and get fouled. I kept screaming for that but it never happened. That is something I think he could work on since he's a great FT shooter, drive, stop, up fake, get the foul.

Yeah, he needs to get to the free throw line more. Briscoe unfortunately went to the line 12 times against Kansas. There is no excuse for Murray to not at least get 6-8 free throw attempts per game. When he does drive he appears to avoid contact by contorting his body and even switching hands to get a shot off cleanly. He needs to go up strong to the rim and draw the contact before he tries to switch hands on the shot.

Drive and foul. His handles aren't great. That, and he needs to play with 100% defensive effort every play. He's probably never going to be an ace defensive specialist, but if he can just provide the effort, like Willis has recently, he'll at least cover up enough mistakes.

I was ready for him to take over that game after he tipped in Ulis' missed 3... but it just didn't happen. No gas left in our tank.
