Think Leach has hit his ceiling at 8-4 with MSU. He's a good coach but that gimmicky Air Raid seems to have a couple of games every year where it just doesn't work. Add to that a game or two where MSU has a significant talent deficit and you might get a lot of 7-9 win seasons. Not horrible but not top tier, either.

Hard to imagine a QB with NFL aspirations would consider that system for his college career. Has not translated to next level very often and, mentally, doesn't prepare for the complexities of the NFL as Air Raid is pretty basic scheme.

I mean it's msu. It's about like UK in the east. Both have reached their limit.
