Most valuable teams in college basketball. Look who is number 1.

That's okay, they can hang up a banner for that in lieu of their 2013 banner.

This is something that's extremely frowned upon in the academic world. Most schools take their money and reinvest it back into the school to make profits looks smaller, after all they are a school, not a corporation.

It's kind of similar to how attorneys generally don't advertise....the ones that do, well they look sleazy.

Most of it. U of L's lease with the city of Louisville is criminal.
It begins and ends with this. Has nothing to do with fan following, ticket sales, merchandising, tv revenue and the like. It's the school writing checks to itself from taxpayer coffers.

Think about it. Louisville? Most valuable? Snicker, snicker...

Yep. 10mil they suck out of Yum and 11mil they suck from the general fund makes this happen. Yearly.
So ridiculous that this does not get more scrutiny.
By contrast, UK gives millions back to the general fund and also funds huge capital projects with sports dollars.
UK had to agree to major academic funding from the athletic dept to get the funds for the commonwealth updates. UL not held to this standard.
Just a different level of class between the 2 schools.

Come on fellas you knows hoe's and liquor are a profitable combination with not a lot of over head. :pimp:

When you play in a publicly owned facility and still get 90% of the suite revenue from a Justin Beiber concert, you can be #1 on this list. The simple fact that a city college like UL is at the top of this list should be enough to launch an investigation.
