What is the single most memorable play in the Cal era to you? There have been a bunch. Cousins buzzer beater in SEC championship to send it to OT? John Wall's game winner in the first game of the Cal Era? Brandon Knight vs. OSU? Aaron Harrison game winner vs. Louisville, Michigan, Wisconsin? AD's block vs UNC? Liggins block and 3 vs. UNC? What is your most memorable play?

bunch of memorable plays. One that I can still see in my noggin is the backwards Ulis pass to a cutting WCS. Other ones:
AD's block of Henson
Liggins three to beat UNC
Darius blind scoop shot on a rebound
Willie's posterizing a UF player

Ahh yes, definitely should've added video of AD's block and Liggins 3 from the corner (and then a kiss from Cal)

Could never pick just one, but two (in addition to those noted above) that stand out are Harrellson's fastball off Sullinger's chest and Bledsoe's dunk against Wake in the tourney.

Both brought me out of my seat.

Honorable mention

I' m gonna go off the board i guess...the defense on the IRISH on final shot...kept us unblemished and trip to final 4.

The Knight shot against OSU had me running out of my apartment screaming. I lived in Ohio for a few years prior to that season and grew a strong distaste for the buckeyes.

1. Aaron's 3 to beat Wisconsin- all-time great buzzer-beater in the F4
2. Knight's pull-up to beat Ohio State- knocked off the tourney favorite
3. Aaron's 3 to beat Michigan- sent us to the F4
4. Davis's block to beat North Carolina- preview of one of the greatest Wildcats' ever's greatness and a huge win
5. Wall's first half transition dunk against North Carolina- first real challenge that year and signaled the Cats were back

I live in Kansas and this is the first one that came to mind.

Obscure, but I immediately thought of a play John Wall made in the game against UConn in Madison Square Garden. Unreal, athletic play - the play itself isn't really important (he got the ball somewhere around the left elbow and got to the rim with such speed it made me blink), it's more that it showed we were back. Just a few months earlier we got beat by 41 at Vandy, IIRC. Entirely different universe in just a few months.....

People have already mentioned the one that first came to mind for me -- AD's block on Henson -- but I think Harrison's 3s have to be on a higher plane. They're our positive equivalents to the Laettner shot. I don't know why AD's block came to mind first.

Two of the more enjoyable plays came against UL last year. WCS besting Harrell for the throw in and the UL player fussing over his jaw even after it had been shown to be an imaginary injury. Human foibles. Gotta love 'em.

If I had to pick 1....

John Wall's "aracattack" against unc because it solidified that Kentucky basketball was back.

Coming off the days of Billy G, that play made me realize Kentucky basketball was back on the elite level of college basketball!!

Davis block against Henson, MKG block against Kansas and Cousins basket to beat Mississippi state.

First one that came to mind for me was Knight's shot against Ohio State. AD's block would be second for me, followed by MKG's back-to-back dunks that subdued Louisville.

Then you had to really love Clark Kellogg's commentary after Knight drained the shot. That is to say his complete silence for the remainder of the game.

1. Brandon Knight's game winning jumper vs. Ohio State.
2. AD's game-saving block vs. UNC.

I would rank these as "tied for No. 1", except for the fact that on his play Knight absolutely schooled the most overrated player in the history of college basketball -- Ohio State's Aaron Craft. My disdain for Craft -- and thus my enjoyment of Knight's game-winner right over Craft -- were almost boundless.

Like others, I have to go with Aaron's 3 against Wisconsin. They just had that BS foul on the 3-pointer on the other end and I thought the refs us just lost us the game.

This 3 games in a row may be the most clutch stretch of end-of-game performances I've ever seen at any level in my life.

Aaron's problem is he had three in a row, and it's hard to say one was better than the other. His three consecutive game-deciding shots in the NCAA tournament to me is the number one accomplishment by any UK player ever. Yes, Jodie Meeks was incredible for an entire game. But we were down to both Louisville and Wisconsin when he hit the shot, and if he misses against Michigan they have three seconds to set up a winner against us. And they were scoring at will toward the end of that game.

A lot of memorable plays for sure. The first one to pop in my mind though was the Anthony Davis' block against UNC. The Brandon Knight shot was noteworthy as well. Of course Aaron's big shots rank very high also.

I feel like game winners in the tournament are more memorable to me and none will ever top Aaron's 3 against Wisconsin. I honestly will never forget that shot. Then knights shoot to beat Ohio state followed by Aaron's other shots. Regular season has to be Davis block to win the UNC game and Young's backwards shot into the wrong goal

haha totally forgot about JY shot.

I also liked Wall's catch and cross over against IU when he streaked down the floor and he went up on his right leg around the guy and dunked left handed all in about 1.5 seconds.

AD block vs. UNC
Bledsoe missed FT with Cousins follow up
Aaron Harrison big balls shots
James Young dunk on UConn
Jorts throwing the ball off Sullinger
Brandon Knights game-winner vs. Ohio State

There are so many since Cal has got here, we have had the ish spoiled out of us for sure, this has been the best six years after BCG left, looking forward to this season as well[cheers]

For me, It's the double alley oop from Bledsoe to Wall to Patterson.

that team could get after it sometimes.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Knight's shot against Princeton with just a couple seconds left deserves a mention.

UK struggled that entire game, Knight was 0'fer to that point (only made shot of the game), and without that basket there may not have been an Elite 8 against OSU.

Jorts vs Sullinger. The fire and intensity in him and the whole team that entire game. One of the best basketball games I've ever seen. One of the best games of anything I've ever seen
sullinger's chest: nosliW
