Houston-Duke will always be on my short list of most thrilling and satisfying college games not involving UK...I was trying to remember the last time a game without the Cats thrilled me as much.

The candidates have to involve a program I loathe as much -- or in this case even more -- than Duke.

I came up with this...

I read Houston went on 9-0 run in 30 seconds.....Reggie Miller made like three 3's in a row in some short period of time to win a game with the Pacers.

Miller was playing the knicks and it was actually 8 points made in 9 seconds.

Before opening the thread I was coming to post the UNC/Nova game. Good to see the OP was on the same brainwave

There was a double-ot game Texas versus Oklahoma State that was the first time I saw Kevin Durant play.

Just totally made my night to see Duke lose in such dramatic fashion. I'm proud of Sampson, the guy is a half-step below Pearl tension-wise :D

Oddly enough, last night was on the level of IU’s win over Duke in Rupp Arena in 2002. I know it’s unpopular to cheer for IU, but this was an exception. Duke was coming off a national championship the year before. Their two wins in Minneapolis (vs. Maryland and Arizona) were two of the most rigged basketball games I have ever watched. Calls were on the same level of Higgins in the 2017 UNC loss. Add to it the annoying trio of Jay Will-Boozer-Dunleavy Jr.— their demise gave me great joy.
