From Jerry Palm: Duke now projects to be the tournament's first eight-loss one seed. Do you agree with that? I'm guessing you don't agree if it's 'should they' and some probably won't agree with that being the way it plays out.

Palm: Vanderbilt has a legit case to make history as well. They could become the first 15-loss at-large team in the Big Dance.

Also from Jerry Palm: His actual bracketology. He has Duke as the one seed in the South, with Kentucky as the two and Baylor as the three. This seems to be a good bracket from Kentucky's point of view, although Virginia as a second round matchup seems a little spooky. The South region is where Kentucky and Duke met in the regional final of the 1998 tournament with the Cats en route to their sixth national championship.

Kentucky now has a 41-2 record in SEC tournament semifinal games, so struggling to put teams away could become an issue in the Big Dance but it probably won't hurt UK in Nashville. That's according to Eric Crawford, who writes about 'Fantastic Fox' powering UK yesterday - but asks whether this team is ready for what lies ahead.

Malik Monk was not shooting well before Saturday, so his 18-point effort against Alabama was a much-needed bounceback. More of that, and more of what Fox gave the Cats, will make Calipari happy going forward.
