Can't they just fire him, and pay him while paying someone else to coach? Either way you're paying him. Just change the locks.
The data can be manipulated 100 different ways and it will still show Cal has been absolute dog crap recently.

I feel like that is where we are at. I really do. Cal is too busy making everyone else happy but our fanbase. Kentucky is no longer about winning. It's about draft night.
Cal could have helped Reed. After coaching him all season, he had to know that he is fragile mentally. So, he should have started him and got him some easy baskets by putting him at the free throw line where he had Tre Mitchell. This would have allowed him to get into a scoring groove early instead of bringing him in when they were down. If he had seen a couple of balls go through the nets early when Oakland was missing their shots, it would have given him confidence.

I agree. My post is because we unbelievably still have fans that think it is the players fault. The same shit has been going on for multiple years and every year Calipari lovers find some player(s) to blame every year. Cal is the one constant for the shitty period.

It is certainly Reed Sheppard's fault. He and DJ came from great basketball pedigree. They both have family members who should have been able to help prepare them for what they were about to face. It wasn't CCC's fault that Shep was running from his shots. It was CCC's fault for tampering with an offense that averaged 90 points a game.

In your mind, there might have been five seasons of basketball played tonight; however, I only saw this game. It is a game in which Reed Sheppard looked like he didn't belong on the court. I don't recall your interest in the past 5 years when Reed was getting well deserved press. lf you had no issues with his deserved good press, you shouldn't have any issues with his deserved bad press. When the team needed Reed, he curled up and wet his pants.
The original post is about the coaches records over the last 126 games. JFC I made a sarcastic post that Cals record over the past 5 years is Reeds fault. Guess the OP and my reply went right over your head.
I am an old guy. I served in the Navy in the 70s and 80s and the one constant was the captian was ALWAYS responsible for anything that happened on his ship, it's a shame UK doesn't hold Cal to that principle,he would have been gone in the 9-16 season. To hear him giving the excuse of too many freshman tonight and in the same breath say he isn't going to change that model is almost beyond belief.
Doesn’t matter that has minimal impact it’s still like a .640 win % even if you deduct that terrible losing season
