Makes me super happy!!!

4/10, 5/5, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 stl, 1 blk, 1 TO for 13 points!

nice double double!

Noel also had a good night with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

Of course, Davis was fantastic tonight with 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

Yes he is.

Those debating the issue are purely neglecting the surrounding talent of Davis and his contemporaries.

LeBron's minutes since arriving in Miami seem to have taken a toll on him.

Right now A.D. is the best basketball player alive. It's unreal to say that, but it's true.

It appears that way. If you were a GM on a contender, one that didn't have AD, Lebron, Durant, Paul, Curry, or Cousins, and you were offered any player to put on your roster . . . it's Anthony Davis, for this year and for ten years from now. It's amazing that he's so good. I've never seen anything like it.

Pleeeeeenty of people here were calling him a bust at the beginning of the season

And many were saying his jumper was forever doomed.

While he's never going to turn into Reggie Miller, his midrange shooting has, in fact, improved.

That's the problem with taking a contrarian and negatively definitive stance when dealing with young players. They always have time to prove the naysayers wrong.

Close second choice would be DeMarcus Cousins!

If Anthony Davis isn't the best in the NBA, he certainly has the most value at least. There's just no question about it.

Which is fine by me. I made the 5 hour drive to Lexington from my town in Tn every single auto signing he did. I've neded up with over 30 AD autos and a few wingspan posters signed. I knew to rack up on him. Good investment.

Just found these two play from Davis last night. Hard to believe the skill set that guy got. Its unreal.

I know some sites were questioning whether or not he would be unloaded to make room for a different option at the SF spot, which really escalated when Stephenson was signed by Jordan. Of course, Stephenson quit actually playing with passion once he signed his life altering contract, which once again, has shown that Jordan is terrible at evaluating talent in free agency. The drafting of Walker and MKG have been keeping that franchise afloat in addition to the consistent play of Jefferson.

So, who is on the all UK NBA team starting 5 right now if you were putting a team together?

C: Cousins
PF: Davis
SF: ???
SG: Bledsoe
PG: Wall

I suppose you could go with MKG at the 3 for D, or you could go 3 guards with either Rondo or Knight at the other position. Knight gives you better shooting, Rondo brings great D.

^ the lineup of my make believe pretend basketball team I'm going through a season with on NBA2k15. I'm 35-4 so far.

That team would compete for an NBA title. Wall, Cousins and Davis are top 12 players; Knight and Meeks would offer needed shooting; Noel, Davis, MKG, and Wall would provide defense.

Do you platoon Jason? ;)

I honestly asked because I am thinking about picking up NBA 2k15 and making a NBA created UK Wildcats team if possible or close to it.

Not with the current starting line up. (and probably not right now since our outside isn't as good in terms of spacing)

I would switch Bledsoe with Knight or Meeks to create more spacing. In NBA you need 2-3 guys who can stretch it. You got Davis at 4, who can stretch a little, but beyond most defensive player would still sag good 3 - 4 feet off our guards.

However, in 2 - 3 years, that line up would probably easily win the NBA title. At which points, Davis will most likely be knocking down couple threes, Wall/Bledsoe will continue to improve their three. So much spacing by then...and wow. It would be disgustingly good in few years.

Double double for MKG again!

Suhweet!!! Still 4th quarter left.

Playing well, he hasn't shot the ball well. He doesn't have stl/blk but he does have 10 rebounds. Let's goooo MKG!

He's taking more shots with Jefferson out. It's been a blessing for MKG. Plus, Charlotte is actually winning without Jefferson.

Hornets may be better without Big Al and Lance, I know that seems crazy but the offense is flowing better

They are playing much better. Ball doesn't stick with Zeller, and the game is opening up for MKG.

MKG now up to 9.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game on the season.

His shot attempts per game are still at a pedestrian 7.8/per contest. He's getting to the line almost 4 times/game, however, which is almost 1 more free throw per game than he had last season.

The Hornets are currently on a four game winning streak. During that streak, MKG is averaging 11.5 points per game and 10.8 rebounds per game. He's also shooting the ball 9.5 times per game during the current win streak.

I hope by the end of the season, that his shot attempts per game is around 8.5 or so.
