Great thread, U9K. I had a feeling Charlotte just wanted to error on the side of caution when it came to the original time-table so as to make MKG's comeback one of reasonable expectations.
13 and 6 in his first game is a good sign as well. His teammates let him have some of the fruit punch, it seems. As much as I hate the Clippers, I'd like to see MKG fill out their roster to see what they could do with a true small forward playing next to the rest of their guys.
I think MKG will put up somewhere between 12 and 14 points/game next season, and continue his habit of grabbing 7 to 8 rebounds. He may not be an all-star, but he's going to continuously make 12-15 million/year and be a guy that every other team in the league covets.
Charlotte is not going to let MKG leave.
