I've been asking for a year now why we never got involved... I suspect there's a good reason.

Cal must have his reason. UK has stayed away, but it's not because of academics or character. Has 3.8 gpa and got a sportsmanship award at McD game.

Yeah, I had not looked at the available players in a while and was surprised to see a 5* SG w size still uncommitted.

We DO need shooters and I know that topic seems to bring out the critics but without a couple legit threats, teams will just pack it in on us.

When there's a big time recruit that we need. And Cal doesn't recruit him. There's usually a pretty good reason. Example, Josh Jackson, he has proven to be a thug. I'm not saying that's the case with Walker, but something not right.

I'm guessing it is a chemistry thing. Cal knows he has to put a Team together and only had one year to do it. You have to have a group that buys in on game one.

I read before that none of the big boys are really recruiting him because it's a pretty well known fact that he's going to end up at a particular school which slips my mind. Florida State?
