OH ST couldn't even out bid GA for a five star recruit. Not even close. How can we keep up in the SEC. It was a lot of millions of dollars that OH ST had to have to keep their roster intact for next year. GA paid the recruit 800 thousand for the season plus a 1.8 million dollar bonus to sign. For just one player. If this doesn't get changed we have no chance raising money like that every season.
I am hearing the most aggressive schools are Tenn, Miami, Texas a+m, Auburn and Louisville. From some one in the know on recruiting .
I can see all of those schools but Louisville doesn't seem to fit in. Do they have that many influential alumni or is it coming from somewhere else?
You believe that? They are pissed because they are appearing to finish 2nd. Wouldn't have anything to do with having 4DL drafted in the first round last 2 drafts, provided Carter does, he is projected to be. No 1st DL, couldn't be that why he wants to not sign with osu, or the weather. OSU loses a recruit then someone is paying more.
There have also been rumors all year of A&M players not getting what they thought they were going to get as far as money goes, and we all see how that season turned out. Mitch is one extreme that IMO needs to move on, time for new leadership at UK but there are also drawbacks to the other extreme as well.
