Milton Wright

Watched him a couple times in HS. Very good. Kinda surprised at academic difficulties coming from Lou Christian Academy. HS teammate of UK’s John Young. Might be a good candidate for a 2nd chance with UK if true.

Unless he goes JUCO first, I don’t see him making it to UK considering how hard it seems to get transfers on campus sometimes.

Apparently his academic issues predated his exit. Was ruled ineligible for their bowl game against the Vols. Then was deemed ineligible for this coming season in May, after working on his academics through the spring missing spring practice. Hope he can get it ironed out. His college career may be over though.

I wouldn’t say it’s over. He has some eligibility left I think, so if he can go the JUCO route and straighten it out then maybe. I feel like he will be on Louisvilles roster at some point.

I'd rather have this guy than Javon Baker as he is proven and Baker is not.

Weird for this to happen with such an important player for them. Someone in their academic support staff dropped the ball. Any school serious about athletics has systems in place where warning bells go off loudly if a scholarship student starts falling to a C.

Great player, probably best option is go play 1-AA for 2022 then enter 2023 NFL Draft.

Don’t think that’s the case at all. At some point, it falls on the student. Shouldn’t be that difficult to stay eligible as a sociology major IMO.

A friend of mine who played at the FCS level told me that if you still failed with the resources that are available to you then you had no one to blame but yourself.

I don’t know what happened here but It’s a tough lesson to learn! If he wants to play football again he’ll work hard and get back on the field. If not I’ll be another waste of talent. I sure hope to see him playing again, with us or anywhere else for that matter. Got to go to class and put in an effort to play Football. Best of luck to the young man.
I’m not trying to ack like I know what happened and I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m judging, I just hope the best for all young people trying to better themselves. The guy sure has a lot of talent to not get back on the field.
