Wow, what a train wreck he's turned out to be. And to think some were clamoring for him to be our head coach after Joker................
Donald Duck would've done a better job than Joker.I do think he would've been better than Joker.
jury is still out on Stoops, but I remembered all those on hear just ripping Mitch for not going after Leach and Petrino.
Agree and I will add to what you say that I believe who controls the LOS will win almost every time. until we have a line that can block for the running game and a defensive line that can both stop the run and pressure the passer I don't think it makes any difference how many so called "skill position players" we have stockpiled .Lots of arguments over Leach here a few years back. Lots of crow for those willing to man up. The dink and dunk/soft football had its day, but teams adjusted. To be successful you better add the ability to run it, and be at least 60/40. College fb hasn't changed much in over 100 years: if you run it best, you probably win.
Yep, that buyout is going to be way too much. Moos used to be the AD at Oregon and isn't any longer for a reason. They were a 31 point favorite over PSU and have a tough schedule this year.IIRC, Bill Moos (WSU AD) has extended his contract every year, and if they were to fire him this year, they would owe him 5 million. For an athletic department that is currently in the red, that's pretty damn unlikely. After so many other schools took a pass on him, the Pirate finally found a patsy in Washington St. His antics might be endearing when he is winning, but rub people the wrong way when things are going South. I saw some highlights from the Portland St game, and their tiny stadium looked less than half full on opening day.
