Im coming back to Kentucky to bust my Mom and celebrate her 91st Birthday!!!

It so happens that my plane will arrive in Lexington at 1:00 p.m. On October 13th - the day that Midnight Madness kicks off at 7:00 p.m.

Do any of you know how I could land 4 tickets to MM? Any Help or Suggestions would be appreciated!

You can get tickets on the secondary market up top for 20-30 dollars apiece. (tickets that were originally free)

The way Midnight Madness is done now, SCREWS those of us UK fans who don't live near Lexington.

You mean Ticketmaster?

Not sure what he meant. When I lived in Oregon I was able to get tickets every year for Madness on Ticketmaster. Since moving to Lexington I haven't gotten them one time on TM. So not sure how that screws those who live further away. Also knew some people living in Texas who got them from TM last year and I had friends in Oregon who got them for me when I couldn't right here in Lexington.

I understand your sentiment, but given that I rarely get an opportunity to see the CATS - I'll be happy with midnight madness...

Oh I can see why you'd want to go. Just think they should cut the woman's scrimmage and give us double the men's time. Nothing more boring than woman's bball

Unpopular opinion, but Midnight Madness overrated
I always tell people that the blue-white scrimmage is a much better time if you're there for basketball. Cheap tickets, great seats and basketball. If you're there for the pep rally, introductions, etc., then Madness is the place for you.

Agreed. Madness is a pep rally. I actually like that especially since Cal got here. Since then it has turned into something that rivals a Broadway production. I also think the BW scrimmages are overrated. The basketball you see doesn't foretell what will happen in the season. You can see SKJ go off for 30 in the BW game and then average less than 3 minutes a game for the season. Still there's no reason to make a choice. Go to both.

Ticketmaster is random. You are either lucky or not at getting them. MM used to be first come first serve, day of the practice. TM was not involved at all. So those who want to attend the most could control their own ability to get in and get good seats.

Advertisements on craigslist should begin shortly. Depends on how much you are willing to pay for a worthless ink pen.
