Possible swan song for Crean at Assembly Hall?

Over on Peegs they are giddy because Maker is visiting them. I thought IU was above the one and dones?

Only when they don't have one.

It pains me to say this but I actually like Dakitchs game analysis. Hes pretty spot on with most of what he calls.

i actually agree. he knows the game. indiana looks worse than i remember wow. they literally would not score on us like this.

Wow.

What a follow dunk by that IU guy.

No...........have you seen the buy out for Cream ? He will be back next year. Plus Maker is not going to IU.

great dunk. iu's offense is completely 1 on 1 basketball. what they'd expect to do against us i have no idea.

I hate IU, but Perea's (sp?) follow jam was bad ass.

We really need IU to win this game to secure a tourney birth and Crean's job.

Wouldn't matter if they did. We'd put up 110 points.

Cool, it's an unranked team that hasn't been to a Final Four in five years playing an unranked team that hasn't been to a Final Four in 12 years.

IU reminds me of someone having a pickup and one of the captains picking all the small fast guys that shot a lot, but didn't play D.

Dakich was funny - just said, carefully, that IU's defense isn't really...well..."resistant". And chuckled. Then went in to defending Crean a bit against fans that are calling for his buy out.

Dakich isn't bad lately, as someone else said above.

How anyone can say Crean deserves more time is beyond me. Yeah they were ranked #1 in 2013, whoopdeeedamndoo. What did they do? Wet the bed in the NCAA tournament. Thought they could have given UL a run for their money that year but did nothing.

But hey, I hope they keep him around. As long as he's coach there's nothing to worry about.

see the buyout website from the other thread. 12 million.

I started watching 15 mins ago. Blackmon may be a shooter but he's so small any size at all negates him. So far he's had a 3 blocked and 2 drives to the basket. I take Booker all day long over him and it isn't even close, in my opinion.

I guess I like Dakich - he's opinionated as hell, but he's not afraid to be bold and consequently, wrong.

While some people will dog him for that, I think its actually refreshing. No one is going to accuse him of having amazing insight (more like incite) into college basketball but he's not afraid to get on a program, player or coach and balances it with equal amounts of praise.

So he's not boring, which is always a good thing.

btw, the game is pretty fun to watch so far

he's calling out their defense. crean can't like that. i feel a super clap building up.

you need to watch a game like this to not take the talent we have for granted

Lord I hope not. They may luck into a good coach if they fire Clappy.

IU getting their butts handed to them in the second half. If the Michigan St bigs could make a freaking lay-up they would be up by 20.

IU's problems:

Zero offense
Less than zero defense
Only 2 halfway decent players
Clown for a coach

Other than that, they are pretty good.

Clappy in full pants hiking clown mode today. Didn't know Ringling Bros was missing one of their own.

NIT bid would be a huge improvement from last year.

Small steps in the rebuilding process.
