Miami playing some good BB this season.

Indeed they have thus far. Very early obviously, but best resume so far. Continue to impress against Butler

They are a good team.

They look really good...although its not like they have played any of the top tier teams and beat them. MSU, Utah, and Butler are solid wins...but let's slow the roll a bit.

Was sad when Larranaga left George Mason, but he definitely deserved the step up. Miami has a good one, hope they can keep up the good play this year!

I agree that Miami has looked better than just about anyone I've seen so far. They have good guard play and an interior to match it at the moment.

The only thing I'd say in regard to a caution about Miami is this: they are a junior/senior laden team, so it's not surprising that they'd be cohesive and playing well early in the season. They don't have a learning curve or adjustment. Teams with highly talented newcomers aren't hitting their stride right now but have the potential to surpass a team like Miami.

I do agree that they are good, but I've seen Miami play very well early in a season before and then lay some eggs later. They seem to lack discipline and they let success go to their heads. I guess we shall see.

Utah is iffy for me;
Did they get pummeled because they are overrated?
Or did Miami win because they are underrated?

Probably a bit of both. Miami has a solid team and although Utah isn't bad (Jakob Poeltl is very good), I don't see them being as good without Delon Wright. Especially not this early in the season.

I do agree that they are good, but I've seen Miami play very well early in a season before and then lay some eggs later.

Last season was a prime example of this. They started well and beat Duke like a drum in Cameron in mid-January. But they also got beaten like a drum by the likes of Eastern Kentucky, Green Bay and Georgia Tech at home and lost on the road against Wake Forest.

Miami is an excellent team. I think they will challenge in the ACC, and are certainly a top 3 ACC team. Great coaching, good big, good length, and a savvy experienced back court.
