Meyer: SEC and ACC Lead 2015 BB Team Rankings

North Carolina 96 and Michigan 97. Does Brown want to come in with these classes.

Shouldn't overall team be more important than recruiting class? UNC (easily) and Michigan (comfortably) both have top 25 rosters.

Kentucky's roster is better, but it's foolish to pretend like playing for UNC or Michigan would be like playing for Wofford.

Why do fans of other teams come here? No Michigan bball fans to discuss things? I'm truly curious. I live near Ann Arbor, nobody cares about basketball in this area.

When Brown says himself that he wants to stay a couple years, the kind of recruiting class coming in does make a difference.

52 page Michigan thread on Jaylen Brown
http://forum.umhoops.com/discussion/1079/jaylen-brown-will-likely-use-ov-for-um/p52

I've got 12,000+ posts on the National Board because I'm a junky and love getting different perspectives. It's not often that Michigan is, or will be, neck and neck with Kentucky in a race for the #3 recruit in the country. I've been coming here to read Kentucky's perspective on Brown and provide some Michigan perspective for those inquiring.

And let's be real, other than Twitter, RR is going to be the place that news breaks first.

I've been under the impression that the "stay a couple years" stuff is just P.C. talk. I think most people expect Brown to be 1 and done. In any case, Michigan has Walton and Irvin that will be around for the next two years and has a huge sophomore class around for the next 3. I'm not sure what UNC's situation is for the next 2 years, though

I'm guessing you filled up that 52 page thread. I'm not going to click on it because I don't go to other teams boards.

Good luck with Brown.

It's ridiculous to think that because another team had a disappointing year that the next can't be a good one for them.
We went to the NIT and the next season the FF.

Good luck, yourself. And try it some time, it's refreshing to get some outside perspective.

Hey, we have 12 year old kids who post here because they know more about basketball than did Arnold Jacob Auerbach. Don't need no perspective. Outside, or otherwise.

It is going to be the norm beating UM in recruiting on both fronts! HA! BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL! Heck they cannot even get an assistant coach away from us in football! Freaking Sweet!
