Read an article about him keeping a 100,000$ bonus. It was supposed to be split between him and his assistants and a lot of his staff. Poor guy is only making like 10 million a year. Wonder how this will go over with his folks.

If he indeed keep that 100K. And it seems he did. That is a bitch move when you’re making 9.5 mil a year and some on the staff including GA’s ect: that work their asses off 80 plus hours a week make hardly nothing. Not a good look. But this guy doesn’t come across as a solid individual.
Nothing sad about Michigan State being stuck with him. Remember this is the same Michigan State that went all in to cover up the massive sex abuse scandal. The institution is rotten to its core. It should burn.

Mel Tucker was Kirby's first DC. I had never heard of him and never saw him do anything on the sidelines. Colorado hired him away, and no one cared. And then Mich St. hired him away at 9.5m per year for 10 years? How did someone who had accomplished as little as Mel Tucker has get that contract? But can't blame Tucker for signing it if State is going to offer it.
