How in the crap does the ref look right at it & call nothing?
The player for Oregon did not box Meeks out. I have no problem with it. He did not box out back to back and it bite them in the rear.
He did not seek out contact to box out. He f Ed up two times in a row. The first one they would of had a fast break. Second one he just bullied him. If he would of broke down and shoved his ass into him he would not of gotten moved as much. The first is still what killed them. And to let that happen two plays in a row is inexcusableFirst miss I agree with you. Second time a hand in the lower back pushed him to the middle of the floor and the rebound went left. Majority of Meeks offensive rebounds happen the same way.
Did you see the rest of the game?
Bell didn't get low and seek contact in either play. It's his fault.
I do think that was a foul on Meeks on the last play, but you're not going to get that unless you actually attempt a box out.
A good friend once told me that it doesn't do any good to put a 20/20 prescription on a 20/400 brain. Please, somebody, purchase glasses for those refs.
What for a travesty! You can't make this stuff up!
Yeah I don't know what you expect bell to do there. He boxed Meeks out and the officials just let Meeks get away with shoving him under the rim.
Those of you saying Bell didn't box out; it doesn't matter one bit. Meeks puts two hands on him and roots him out of the lane. That's a foul ANYWHERE else on the floor.
If you put two hands on a ball handler it's an automatic foul. Two hands on a guy trying to cut off a screen? Automatic foul. The "new" rules - which are really just the old rules that were never enforced - are two hands on a player to restrict or redirect player movement is an automatic foul. Except, of course, it wasn't in this case, which is why more and more fans are losing interest in the game because the level of officiating is at an all-time low.
I hate UNC as much as anybody, and would love to bash the refs, too, but there was no foul on either rebound. Dude simply did not block out...unreal he could not box out a second time after not getting the first rebound opportunity....Afraid it's the Tarhole's year :-/

you are all pathetic
Sorry, but the refs aren't going to send Oregon to the line with a chance to win a FF game because of a ticky tack rebounding foul 97 feet from the Oregon basket with 4 seconds left. That would have been right up there with the Ohio State / Miami CFB national championship pass interference.
Here ya go...
Amazingly we have so many disputing this video evidence. That absolutely has to be called.
Great analogy!same kind of victim shaming .........next you going to say rape victims deserve it if they wear tank tops and short skirts?
A foul is a foul....... its like saying a jump shooter doesnt deserve a foul unless he has good form.
Great analogy!
That was truly horrible...he moved his pivot foot at least twice. The walk not called on Berry was even worse...
Refs LOVE to call walking...except against UNC.
That should have been a foul on Meeks....unfortunately, this is a play college hoops has allowed to devolve into a no call...you see it all the time, offensive guys in the 2nd lane space are shoving defensive rebounders under the basket. This needs to be a point of emphasis next year. I also agree Bell went to sleep and needed to stick his butt into Meeks....it's not like he hasn't seen this movie his entire career at Oregon. Those of you saying Bell didn't box out; it doesn't matter one bit. No he was not. If he was you can't compare that to anything to do with rape. You are a fool and I am done reading your foolish posts. Welcome to ignore. Don't cause any wrecks on 270 with your foolish driving.Oregon player was a victim of a foul was he not? if you can blame the victim here..... then why not blame all victims of every situation for not doing more to prevent the victimization?
