Everyone in Kentucky accepts it because of our past.

Hell, I'd bet If you gave me 10 years I'd have one or two 5 and 3 sec seasons when some other teams were down also.

We get happy over a good year and forget that it should have been a better year- Ole miss slip away and miss st debacle similar to last night's game. They happen every year.

Meanwhile, 2nd,3rd year coaches at programs very similar to the present day kentucky program have taken their teams to a better position than Stoops In year 10. There's zero excuse for last night. Outclassed and outcoaxhed majorly by a team who might not get another conference win save vandy. Pathetic. Zero excuse for not having a backup that has at least taken a snap. Zero excuse for last week also. Declining a fricken penalty because you're scared of 3rd and 33 so you give them three points?? What did we lose by? Zero excuse to not have a kicking game in YEAR 10. Zero. Zero excuse to have the play clock hit Zero with 10 minutes left down 10. Zero.

I'm happy Stoops turned our program around. I'll still get my hopes up before each game and cheer as hard as anyone but, I jusr don't see us ever putting all the pieces together under this guy. I also think someone else could have done it in half the time.

I think Stoops has enjoyed good timing, in that the SEC East has been pretty down for more than a few years and we’ve recruited better. I read where we are 16-2 over the previous six (6) seasons against Vandy, MIZZ and USC, but you know that cannot continue. Florida has been down, also. All four of those programs have fired a bunch of coaches during that period. Louisville has not been as good either, ever since Lamar Jackson left.

To me, by far, the most impressive thing Stoops and the program have done is win four (4) straight bowl games against pretty good teams.

Under stoops when we get 10 points down it sure seems like 21+. I’m really torn as he has done an amazing job turning this program around, but his ultra conservative style and inability to recruit and coach up a QB is frustrating as hell. Both Bama and the Tards won road games yesterday with their backup QB yet we can’t win a home game against one of the worst division opponents we will face with ours.
