McGee and Powell will NOT be indicted

What kind of evidence do they need?

So prostitution is now legal in Louisville??

Or was the Grand Jury only looking into whether minors were involved?

Or, and this is more likely, no one would talk.

None of the "Power brokers" with the money in Louisville want this case in a public court of law.
Folks, it is very simple....Money talks and Louisville (and UNCheat) have lots of money to make "little problems" like prostitutes and fake classes go away.

22 parties held in Minardi Hall, with sleeping security guards and broken onsite cameras AND Pitino away from campus EVERY time?

Not buying it; RIck knew and allowed it to go on by making sure those 1st 2 items I mentioned were implemented.

"Make sure the security guards ignore any visitors"

MH should be torn down and make the players move in with the regular population.

Means nothing for the ncaa investigation, all it means that cards fans that were begging Powell was charged with prostitution won't come to fruition.

This is a win for Louisville. Keeps the saga from being drawn out for another 2 years. Has nothing to do with NCAA ruling, but will keep them from being compelled to have to come down any harder than they are planing on

Katina just got off better than she did in the good ol' days with Chane.

Go back out there and work it some more, girl! Get the Cards football team on probation while you're at it, we know Petrino would love to have one of your girls take a ride on his hog!

Posters that have invested time and energy following these cases need to prepare themselves. UNC and UL arent getting anything from the NCAA.

I agree on unc. On ul, i think they get hammered. Just a matter of if the title stays. They arent the favorite son thst unc is

Exactly.

Where is the blue dress when you need it? So in Jefferson County, Kentucky prostitution with minors in not something you can prosecute because of insufficient evidence even though the one who provided the prostitutes wrote a book telling all. I love this country and pity the poor soul sitting in a jail cell for doing a lot less than what went down at MH. .

Re: the book. Legally, that doesn't hold water. Writers aren't under oath, and can claim "literary license". Not defending UL at all here. The scope of the grand jury is very limited, and in this case decided there wasn't enough evidence that her daughters were underage at the time, or the recruits were (which basically means that witnesses clammed up when asked about specific acts).

But there's certainly plenty of ammo for the NCAA to come down hard.

Just heard it....insufficient evidence
I'd say that means the hammer will fall on UL. If the two key players in the case have sold their souls that far to allow them to avoid prosecution, you can imagine who they are pointing the finger at: Pitino. The money trail proof that leads to McGee had to come from a direct testimony from him unless he was stupid enough to allow it to hit his bank accounts where the Feds can trace it. But in order to get that testimony, I am sure his attorney required immunity. After all, he is the one that actually paid Powell. He paid the cash for the illegal act. His testimony is a lot more important that a simple prostitution charge against either of them. It lays out the corruption within the coaching and administration at UL. That's the biggie.

I will believe the hammer comes down on UL or UNC when I see it. I sure hope the NCAA does the right thing but there are times in the past they did not.

I'd like to see the hammer drop on UL but even if it doesn't the damage has been done. The title and those years are permanently stained with the taint of a whore scandal more egregious than you could even invent.

Amen brotha

This is positive for UL.

Testifying under oath and talking to the NCAA are two different things. UL didn't want this being litigated in a court of law.

It would be nice for that to be true. However, this is only seen by "us". RP recruiting has actually gotten a little better since the scandal. He will be back with NCAA tournament coverage and all will be forgotten
