Maybe starting Humphries over Skal will light that fire..

He needs to stop being a puss. The kid has remarkable talent. Honestly, in my opinion, he is the most skilled big to play college basketball since Anthony Davis. But, that means NOTHING if he can't establish position or block out.

Skal needs rhythm. He cant get it by getting in foul trouble immediately every game. Cals trying to get then to throw him the ball early, to get him going.
 
Everything you have predicted has been wrong.
 
Every person that played in the game, for either team, had more rebounds than Skal.
 
Skal has some vag issues. So does Poy. Both sucked tonight

I think he is so confused that its hard for him to see the problem. One time he was taken out and Coach Payne was trying to tell him something and Skal kept talking and throwing his arms around that Payne just turned his head. I don't think Skal doesn't listen, I think he's just that upset with his play!
 
Confidence isn't going to give him 20 more lbs of muscle in his lower body and core.

or being out of position for help defense

or trying to block tony parker when he was behind the effing back board, and give him an escape by trying to block an already impossible shot to go in.

If you are waiting on him getting more muscle, you're going to stay disappointed with him. But if he learns to improve on the other points you mentioned it will help with his game.

I would think he can gain at least 5-7 lbs muscle by march. Do heavy weight, focus on muscle gain. We still have 4 months right? Eat a lot of eggs, Rocky Style.
 
Would help if someone would make a three pointer outside of garbage time. Doesn't have any room to operate when a help defender only has to take one step to be all over Skal.

This reminds me how Pitino tried to get Walter McCarty to pick up weight during the season by making him drink multiply milk shakes a day. Some guys just don't pick up weight easy, especially during the season with games and practices.

yeah that's true.

One of my buddies would drink beer like water, and he never had beer belly. LOL, while maybe not exactly related...bodies do act differently.
