I went to sleep last night a little upset about the 25-6 free throw disparity. But looking back on how the game developed, especially early, made me feeling much better. Keeping two of our players off of the free throw line is a good thing. If either of them had gone to the line early in the game when it was still close would mostly likely have meant a miss and a possible Vandy breakout or score.
I guess we will never know but we did win by almost 20 and we had the game in control without depending on free throws. That is a good thing and I will take this disparity every game with the same outcome.

Yep, I'd rather get 2 points off a layup than go to the line and go 0-2 or 1-2 anyway.

Your argument makes no sense. Foul called on a made shot = possibility for an extra point. A foul called on a missed shot = possibility for extra points. Called fouls = foul trouble for an already struggling Vandy team. I see absolutely no way uncalled fouls is a benefit to The Cats.

Good thing indeed.....when you can get so open no one is close enough to foul you.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
