So Matt mentioned a looming basketball commitment the week after Big Blue Madness last night on Periscope. Who do you all think it will be? My guess is De'Aaron Fox with the wildcard being Gabriel. Giles will still have a Duke visit and Monk is a probable Spring guy. What say you all?

it'll be somebody that attends Madness. We know Monk plans on taking his time. Fox is wanting to be a fall commitment. Gabriel isn't going to Madness. Giles is a long shot.

I'd bet Fox.

I sure hope so. I'd love to have Fox. Flat out stud.

I hope it's Fox. The best way to start a recruiting class is to get the best and most elite pg in the class. Most think pg is the most important spot on the floor so getting the best available is always awesome. Fox is my favorite recruit in the entire class so lets hope its him.

He is really going out on a limb saying there could be a commitment after BBM..lol But Fox would be nice since we could lose all of our PG's.

Fox is essentially replacing Murray (he is all but guaranteed to leave) at this point if he commits. He is going to start in the backcourt.

So even if Ulis and Briscoe come back, Fox starts. Why wait if he wants to come?

I really can't see Briscoe staying and it doesn't sound like Cal expects Ulis back.

So most likely Ulis and Briscoe both leave and Fox is joined by Monk or Simmons or Alkins in the backcourt.

He might as well commit, he has a starting spot all but guaranteed.

Could very well be Gabriel in that timeline because he still has two more official visits to wrap up then most announce shortly there after. Think it was mentioned his last visit is to Duke around the 16th which is same as madness.
