Maryland's Jaylen Brantley

I think Cal was talking more about mid major transfers. They get gutted by it through no fault of their own.

Camel knows this. He's just a hater and not an actual UK fan. It's too obvious. Just ignore him and maybe he'll go away, or change his username at some point and start over. Man, I don't understand how or why some guys have time or energy to troll so hard.

Cal doesn't like the grad transfer rule. And I love Cal... but the way he came across on the subject was not good, but it's out there now. It comes across as a blanket disagreement and unwillingness to support it. I think he honestly felt for Bruiser and others but Cal is a "players first" guy, right? If a player is doing what he thinks is best for him or wants to do, then that should be the end of it. I think Cal should have addressed it like the OAD rule and decisions to leave even if they aren't ready.

I just think Cal knows much more about how these things go down than we will ever know and he doesn't like the way it happens. I don't know it, but I suspect there was what the pros term as "tampering" involved and Bruiser suffered because of it. There is no way this is all on UL, or any other school, as the kid ultimately makes the decision. Realistically, with the rule the way it is, if a kid is going to graduate, has a skill another school desires, and has eligibility left it's tantamount to another recruiting period. You can like the rule or not but it's there and teams use it. Cal should too... and has!

Why is this hard for people to understand? Cal said he doesn't like taking grad transfers from mid majors or low tiers. Maryland and Pitt do not fall in those categories so it would not be hypocritical for him to take said transfers. It's not that confusing.
