And exposes IU as their win over Maryland was one of their signature wins. I've heard IU fans say that Maryland was ranked 8th when they beat them; I never saw higher than 13th. Oh well, the delusion of IU fans exceeds no bounds.

Don't know how much esteem they had really garnered. Just if you are 18-3 in a P5 conference you're going to eventually climb in the rankings.

I don't know. There are a number of teams right now I don't think deserve their ranking. A few, like Oklahoma I don't think should even be ranked. Gonzaga though is not one of them. I've watched them a number of times. Their games aren't that late for me. I think they are an outstanding team. Don't think they could beat UK, but then I don't think anyone can.
