Has to be good. May still choose Miami. But by already deciding it seems almost certain hes refusing to wait and see where the dominos ahead of him fall for FSU and Texas.
Far from clear whether he ever actually had committable offers from either FSU or Texas. In the case of FSU, I doubt it. I don't have any inside information on this, but I think it bodes well for us if he announces tomorrow morning. But I have always thought he will sign with us.
To tell yea the truth, I wouldn't be shocked to see one of them commit to school A at his ceremony tomorrow and send his LOI to school B 30 seconds later the way this year has gone.
We have lost 8, and the general feeling is we are going to lose at least 1 more, could be 4 more, but one of those might be a grade issue and on our end. We could get 2 of those 8 back, very likely to get 1 at least. All I know is offers are flying out of the athletic office, we offered a back last night and he committed on the spot, no idea how good he is, all state in AA and gained about 2k yards, big kid 6'2" 225 range, offer going out to a LB and from his film I wish he was committed, but the others I never heard of. We are signing 30, maybe, and very likely to need at least 6 come our way tomorrow.
I agree - I think our staff sold him on early PT and great opportunity to prepare for and enter the league in 3/4 years. Wereas at FSU and Texas who knows when he would see the field and what his future would be like? I think he's BLUE all the way.
