Marcus Lee

I wish we could have signed one more big for Skal to bang with in practice, but I am good with Marcus getting increased minutes. This summer will be HUGE for both Marcus and Derek.

Both need to live in a gym and gain about 10 to 15 pounds of muscle this off-season. If we could mold them into one player, it would be great with Lee's defensive abilities and Derek's offensive game.

I would like to see him put on some muscle so he wouldn't get pushed around. He has great energy and came up big when Willie got hurt. He's going to be under more pressure to score next season and I hope he can do it.

Really looking forward to seeing Marcus on the floor for 28 minutes a game. I think we'll be able to count on his head always being in the game. Might be some mistakes through December but some real leadership potential is there with him and Ulis together. We've got a solid freshman class, a superb juco with great experience and by all accounts a solid head on his shoulders. Poy coming back healthy, rebounding department might have some questions. Willis is going to have a say in how this works out and Hawkins is solid back up at 3 positions. We'll be ranked in the middle part of the top 10 for most of the season. There's going to be some surprises.

It's Lee's time to shine! It's all up to him! He needs to live in the gym this summer and work on his game. I expect a much improved Marcus next year!

Marcus Lee, you wanted your opportunity, here it is!!!

Good post. Good comments. I think the 15-16 team will be a fun team to watch and has a group of players the fans will like. I think the team chemistry will be a strength. And, Lee will step up.

This for sure! Think the chemistry will be there and am excited to see what Marcus will bring to the table in his extended minutes.

Marcus has that set of volleyball instincts to know before the ball hits his hands where it needs to go allowing for him to make those quick touch passes to an open man. I think Skal is going to benefit from that a lot. He and mulder. I'd be shocked if his most impressive stat this year isn't his assists. If Lee can give us 8 points and 6 rebounds a game and a block or 2 a night in 25mpg I'll be happy.

It also seems like Ulis and Lee already have great chemistry. When Lee was in the game this past season he was usually always on the floor with Ulis and most of Lee's point came off lobs from Ulis. I expect to see even more of that this coming season from these two
