My guess is that it was a mistake by Nike and the staff probably didn't even look at all of the jerseys until today. Most likely they looked at one to show the media and kept the rest in the box until today. Since they were only going to be used once they didn't have time to get it fixed and just rolled with it. That's just my guess.

I always wondered how something like that is recorded? Is it an assist an score or Offensive Rebound and score.

I don't know but that was what I thought about afterwards. He needed to because he clearly wasn't shooting. It was a definite pass off the backboard.

To be frank..no one should be wearing 00 that number should be retired, not just the jersey.
