Malik Monk scores 40 points ... in the 2nd half

It's crazy to think that this kid is arguably the least talented of our 4 best recruits for next year.

You mean most talented right ? I guess Fox could be considered better but I kinda doubt it . Monk is the best SG I have seen in HS in a while . I honestly can't think of someone better at least while Cal has been at UK . The guys who come to mind are more SF's like Harrison Barnes and Shabazz ect but Monk is a true scoring guard.

We'll table the John Wall question for another time. You think Monk is better than Fox?
Fox will be drafted a spot or 2 higher since he a PG but yes . But if I was ranking the guards Cal has gotten at UK I would go

1. Monk
2.Wall
3.Fox
4.Murray
5. Knight

Though in 10 years when we look back I wouldn't be surprised if Murray has the most NBA Impact.

I just don't see it. Wall's speed and ability to run the team at a high level immediately put him on a different level. What set Monk apart for you?

Monk is REALLY good. I'll have to wait to see how he performs to put him in the same class as Wall but he's quick, insanely athletic, and he can actually SHOOT.

As someone pointed out, Monk is likely the MOST talented guy you have for next year. The kid is straight elite, and in a class that only a few other players in the group can be considered.

Even if he's not as good as Wall or Knight, I think Monk AND Fox will be very good.

Do you guys think Cal will let him shoot? Or will he force him to dribble drive? Seems like great shooters in high school don't shoot well under Calipari. No wonder Kennard went to Duke. He wouldn't be allowed to shoot at UK. Drive drive drive

Where am I wrong? I watched Murray light it up all summer long from three point land, now he can't seem to find his rhythm. Its interesting.

Here is a stat for you and I hate to zing you like this but sometimes people need to be put in their place and you don't know jack so Im going to teach you.

Out of all the teams from power conferences, Kentucky has the lowest percentage of points scored from beyond the arc. Think about that.

Say again; no major conference college team has scored a lower percentage of their points from three than UK. Amazing

Why do you turn every thread into a Calipari thread? Do you even read the thread titles or just see how you can hijack them into another agenda driven tirade.

Oh for $&!$'s sake, give it a rest

Brandon Knight, Doron Lamb, Devin Booker. Ulis shot great from range last year, hasn't dialed it in yet this year but I bet he will.

Now shut up.

Why do you worship me?
Anyone who has a tom cruise wiggity wack, I'm going to another dimension LRonHubbard avatar, has shit for brains. That point doesn't even mention your anti Cal and UK posts. You have some agenda; shove it up your ass. A neurologist, it would not take, to see Ky has not shot well. A person of your aptitude may have seen their dismantling of duke and see their record and rank. They're young. You're dumb. Go eat shit and help LRons rusty ship. Maybe you can make it to a higher level.

I just need to know if cut nets thinks this formula wall+paige=monk, is similar or better than his original of davis=Henson?

You do understand that driving the ball makes this team nearly upset proof in the tournament, right? If you live by the 3, you die by the 3. If we have an off shooting night we still know how to win because you can always drive the ball and not rely on the 3. Cal is teaching them to drive it and later in the season you'll see the players relax more and shoot more 3's but not until they learn the dribble drive is first option. I'm sure you didn't "zing" him or anyone else because you're the one lost.

When people start talking about posts I can't see, I realize that cuts nets is trolling again. Guy craves attention and you all give it to him again and again. Ignore is your friend.
Yep, every single time. There should be a thread pinned on this board that simply tells everyone to have him on ignore.

I love ignore. I'm confused for a minute when I see these comments seemingly out of nowhere and then I'm like "oh yeah, that guy everybody wishes would just leave is back again"

When Cal wins another title, he'll cry himself to sleep.

How many games did you get to watch him this summer? I only saw where he was on TV once or twice.

Here is a question for you then.Since our 3 point percentage is so bad as a good coach do you think he or to allow them to shoot more 3's? I don't blame Calipari with the way they all are shooting right now I would want them to drive more to. Keep on grinding that axe there lol. Good thing is there should be plenty of coaching positions available after this year and maybe with your expertise you can land one of them.
