Lowest number of Draft entrants since 2015

There were only 53 early enrollees from college last year who remained in the draft. I wonder if that number will stay about the same.

This is one of the positives of NIL. Kids not going pro and not being drafted, causing seriously issues financially. Allowing them to develop more and earn enough money to potentially be life changing.

We just need to regulate it.

This is great. We just need to be able to reduce the turnover at colleges.
I'm a proponent of one free transfer and then either sitting out a year or some NIL handicap for a year if a player transfers again. Of course, athletes could still transfer freely if the coach changes.

This would all need to be collectively bargained, but I think it would be a solid start.

I agree as that seems like a good middle ground.

Among the 106 early entrants are Oweh and Lowe.

I didn't realize Lowe had submitted his name.

As unlikely as it is that either he or Oweh get feedback that encourages them to stay in the draft, this explains (at least in part) why Pope and Co. have still been making at least initial contact with guards in the portal.

In the crazy chance that either of them stay in the portal, they at least wouldn't be starting from ground zero with potential replacements.
