We play good defense in spurts, but not near enough consistantly. In the NCAA tournament it will get us if we don't get better on the defensive end. Great win tonight though. Take em anyway you can get em on the road in this league.

I think if we would have stayed in man to man we might walk out of Starkville with a comfortable W. I get why Pope was doing it especially when Carr was in the game because of his back but that zone just wasn’t effective tonight like previously. I’ll take the improvement on defense tonight though in the man to man
