This is just a built in excuse for SPINtino. He knows that their fate rests solely on Damion Lee, however, if they lose he can just say how short-handed they were.
I know many (and I think insincerely) say, "Oh, I hate to hear that" about another rival's team having some player injuries. Well, we have had our share and no one shows sympathy for us. I say good, the more chances we have to win, the better. Typically, I prefer facing teams that can make winning a challenge as I think that helps improve the team. But, at the moment, I will take any advantage we can get.
So Louisville has two guys that aren't going to produce as expected. That's OK, we've got about six of those. If you are not playing and not producing, that is to be expected and someone can play in your place and produce. If you are playing and not producing, you are in the way.
If that is logical...advantage Louisville.

Just went over there. Zipp says Mahmoud is day to day. CueCard says losing to UK doesn't matter because it is an OOC game. He's stump broke.

Losing to UK always matters, when something bothers you 365 days a year, it matters!

Well, I agree that I like our chances better, against them, but I do hate to see anyone hurt. As long as it doesn't affect their career, like a ACL, it is a little easier to see.
Boom. 3 players have now missed a game or more for Kentucky, and that's not including Alex tweaking his knee for a game.
Don't want to hear what injuries other teams have. And quite frankly I don't care. Hope that specific player heals and it doesn't affect his NBA career or life in any negative way.
But Kentucky should have 2 more titles if we have full strength teams. I'll take a title any way I can get it at this point, and if that means the title game has 5 walk-ons because the starters ate bad Chipotle? Good.
And for anyone saying "Well it's not a legitimate title" or "What will people say?"..
.. no one seems to discredit Duke's title last year. And there's no "Was the best team with a serious injury" award.

I saw the Stockman kid at Oxmoor Mall last Friday. Tall but rail thin. Did have a hot girl hanging on to him, imagine that.
As bad as Skal has played thus far, I just dont see this at all. Stockman is a human toothpick. The guy has the most narrow shoulders I've ever seen on a 7ft person. He's weak, and slow. I'm not saying Skal is MUCH better, just not as bad.
So much for Anas being out until Wake. Just checked into the UL game. Pitino does this every year. Remember when he brought Behanan back from "suspension" just for the UK and then kicked him off the team 2 days after our game?

Right on Zipp, is that why every thread you start is a slight toward UK and your coach is practicing all week and twice on Christmas day? UK is at home with their families this week.
