I really think Duke will finish higher than 7th in the ACC!
They are always delusional this early in the season. Give them a few more games and reality will set in. Go Cats!!
its easy to look like world beaters and stick out your chests when you are beating teams in the bottom third of college basketball. just ask duke.

You know, they ARE undefeated, unlike Duke. Therefore, they are technically ahead of Duke. Who did they beat tonight?
They beat that juggernaut Hartford. And why shouldn't they finish ahead of Duke? After all, Rick said it was the best team he has ever had.

Louisville will roll thru the acc this year, I see them as a two seed at worst. Now that all the distractions are behind them, they can concentrate on what HOFCRP needs them to do. Skal and Lee fouled out tonite, their front court is no longer 21 feet of suck. They are now at 28 feet. Go ahead and laugh, but you won't get to laugh out loud until Dec 26.

I just can't get over the idea that they embraced that slogan. It's so unfathomably dumb and cartoonish and it's dead on for the unflattering stereotypes we give them - yet they embrace it.
If I explain to a non UK fan friend how that fan base is... that they actually go around saying L1C4 to each other, talking about how either a player is really L1C4 or he's not, etc. That friend will say "stop it. you're just making things up now".
No I'm not. I swear to you. I know it sounds like I'm parodying them, but I'm not. They actually think that they're throwing around some cool slang. It's amazing.
The bird with teeth, the way they design the L, their fans' unbelievable garbage opinions, the way they continue to scream about how we cheat when THEY BUY HOOKERS FOR RECRUITS, you really can go on and on. I mean what's one thing they do that isn't hilarious? They've had some good kids go through that program but man.
Also, I love how L1C4 is some rally cry for morality or something. If somebody doesn't commit there they're not L1C4 enough. This is the same school that employs Rick Pitino, Bobby Petrino, and had Charlie Strong's "Core Values of Louisville Football" that actually had to spell out "No Guns, No Drugs". Also, you know, hookers.
They're such a joke. I'm not sure how the rest of college basketball hasn't caught on yet.

Well, to be fair they don't see talent very often, whether it be their own team or the cupcakes they play every year. It's like anything in life, when you aren't exposed to something very often, it's often difficult to understand.
It is shocking how cocky they've gotten after how depressed they were this summer. You would think something good has happened but they still have no skill with their bigs and their guards are truly mid major caliber. ... without the good outside shooting.
It's pure delusion of course. But this is all they have this year. They have to enjoy this while it lasts. For now, and until they play a decent team, they can still claim to be great.
Here's a funny thought though... Grayson Allen thought he was Michael Jordan in their first 2 games, but he got a dose of reality tonight. The same will happen with UofL.

*I have to believe that these are not the top 5 right now. Maybe in the future, but neither are smart, lots of poor fundamentals, and all around sloppy.
*I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure Calipari is 0-Life against Coach K. The playing field has been leveled on both sides, talent-wise. It's likely gonna come down to coaching.

Up here in the northeast the stereotypes for KY are strong. But thanks to the bird brains I'm changing those stereotypes one person at a time. It's no longer making fun of the great people of eastern KY. It's all about the idiots of Louisville now.
