I was going through some tubs and found a bunch of my stuff from the 90s. Not pictured here but also present are 1994 zig zag Apex shorts, 1995 cat scratch uniform, 1998 blue shooting shirt, 1999 Wayne Turner white jersey.

I loved those too. I loved all of the uniforms in the 90s. The 97-99 stuff was simple. I like the early 2000s as well.

I'd say the only time I hated a uniform was the end of Tubby/Billy G era.
I hated the checkerboard era. Way too long. I’m glad we have went back to some new styles now. I wish we would have some throwback 1999-2003 style uniforms at some games.

My son was given my old converse denim jersey and shorts. He has worn them ot the one game we’ve been to this year and got lots of compliments. They are really worth a ton of money. You can’t find them anywhere. He also has the matching hat to go with it. We waited to try and get pope to sign it, but his parents were in town so he cut it short. Hopefully next game we can get his autograph on the jersey.

Damn man! I got too fat for mine at one time and got rid of them. I can fit into them now and wish I had them back. UGH!

I have a pair of Pro Jog UK tennis shoes from the 90s that's never been worn. Hopefully there's an autograph tour after the season and I can get Pope and some players to sign them.

This 98 shooting shirt. Probably wore this one time😂

I have this too. My dad bought it at the Nike store in San Antonio during the 98 final four. He wore it during the Stanford and Utah games in the Alamodome. Makes me think of him, so thanks for posting.

I still love the Denims, but for my money I think the 97 uniforms are among the very best we’ve ever had out there.

He needs to put them in a frame. I have a #15 white jersey signed by Demarcus Cousins hanging on the wall. Wished now that I could have gotten both Shepherds to sign it, hindsight is 20/20

So because it was trendy to get everything big in the 90s, this stuff either still fits me or is still too big😂

What the heck was I doing getting grown men sizes as 10-13 year old?

I have that same McCarty uniform.
I wish it was a Pope jersey now.

Back then, you remember how they would pick one player for the jerseys to sell?

95 cat scratch was Delk
96 denim was McCarty
97 Blue was Mercer
98 Sheppard
99 Turner

I think 94 was Rhodes, maybe Ford.

I’ve seen these Pope Apex jerseys and I have no recollection of ever seeing that be sold unless it was done before they came out with the cat scratch later in the season?
EDIT: Pope jersey is what they sold before they debuted the denim.

We took our kids to the Reed Sheppard experience at Rupp in the spring and you got an autographed jersey of Reed and then we got Jeff to sign it before we left.

Tell you what, I’ll trade you two collectible-edition beanie babies for the jersey and shorts. 😜

That's what everyone did those days. We wore baggy clothes. Seeing your gear makes me wish I'd held on to mine.

I found a onesie with the oldschool wildcat on the front yesterday. My baby boy is scheduled to be born next week and it's his first official gear. Something about that old wildcat logo is just superior to everything else to me

I have so much stuff, man. I have so many NBA jerseys in which I've reached out to some vintage sports collectors to see if they would buy it.

Back then, it was also 'cool' to have gear of teams you weren't even really a fan of., collecting basketball shorts for camps, pickup, etc. I have Arizona, Syracuse, Maryland, Gonzaga, Mich State, Texas, Stanford, Georgetown, Michigan, old jerseys of UNC Vince Carter and Gtown's Allen Iverson. Eastbay was my favorite thing to order from as a kid.

But yeah, so much of this stuff is huge still.

That's awesome OP! I think most of my uniform material is gone.

The one item I had was a Pope #41 Apex Jersey. He signed it at Father and Son Camp. I do have a Denim Cons hat as well which is cool.

Great collection!
