No. Louisville's appeal was filed on August 9, so I suppose the NCAA's response is due next Friday, Sept. 8 (30 days).

Is today the day otis hears ncaa reply to their appeal?

So, was just looking at the wiki entry for David Roselle (don't ask why). See this:

"Roselle was widely praised for his decisive response to the scandal. Roselle forced head coach Eddie Sutton to resign in favor of then-New York Knicks coach Rick Pitino, and also forced athletic director Cliff Hagan to resign in favor of C. M. Newton, launched an extensive internal investigation, implemented new policies which tightened control of the athletic department, and cooperated completely with NCAA investigators. These actions were credited with preventing the basketball team from being disbanded for two seasons, as the NCAA's Committee on Infractions initially recommended."

So, that's interesting. I didn't know, or at least had forgotten, that the COI recommended the program be disbanded for 2 years. Was that an appeal situation, or just a case of an initial recommendation that was eventually something less by the time the COI ruled?

This was prior to ESPN owning the NCAA ESPN'd president just happens to be aUNC grad

"The COI had 30 days from Wednesday (a month ago)to respond to U of L's appeal. After that paperwork is filed, U of L gets another two weeks to send a rebuttal. Then the NCAA's enforcement staff has 10 days to add its reply before U of L gets 10 more days to counter."

I'll wait. :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
