Yep. He's really working it early and I think he'll offer earlier and tell them he wants commits earlier too. As in, offer him and him and who commits first gets it.
Yeah, the last few years Cal has waited a while, sometimes till the summer before their senior years to make final decisions in who to focus on. But it seems like his early intuition is usually correct. He knew he wanted Vanderbilt, Washington, Diallo, Richards etc. pretty early but just waited to put the heat on. If he's going to be correct about who he wants anyway, might as well start offering and focusing on em right away and get that relationship started asap.
