Well it is the 1st of March and everything is quiet...Is that good or bad?...I am sure hoping that this can be cleared up and he can return to the university and fb program in good graces...I know someone who knows him personally and says he is a great kid and believes he would never do anything like this ...Has anyone heard anything on when they think this will all be settled?...I am sure there are lots of decisions by the family to be made on whether or not they want to deal with some issues that may happen even if he is readmitted, but I don't see how that can all go away by just going somewhere else...

We won't hear anything until Tubman and his attorney/family have met with UK. To my knowledge that has yet to occur.

If the University reinstates him it will have to be done for him to enroll in the first set of summer classes. I suspect his mom will "break" the story when she can.

No problem, I clicked the tweet and got to see the picture.

Lots of "Wows" on the tweets, and I have to agree, looks like a beast. Looks like he not only has some of the longest arms around but also some of the biggest.

Pretty sure this doesn't apply to UK in any way shape or form (maybe UL) but when Mike Thomas (a number one overall NFL draft pick) transferred to UNLV from Oklahoma he passed SEVENTEEN hours of summer school classes (at a Community College) to become eligible that fall.

Of course that was under the coach that later helped get SMU the death penalty.

If the process goes through and he is allowed back in school, there's no reason that he can't get enough hours in to catch up and be eligible for the fall season. I had a son who added a major going into his junior year and had to take all of of his 100 classes because they were not available in the spring and summer semesters. Its a full summer but he did it so I am sure Tubman can.

With his attitude and apparently hard work it is obvious he is going to play football somewhere.

Why not Kentucky?

If it isn't UK and that is where he wants to be (sounds like it is) I will be very upset with somebody unless they come out with a lot more convincing reasons than I have heard so far.

Yup, very impressive him getting it done on his own like that

If he has been able to keep up some online classes to maintain eligibility and academic progress, then he might be able to contribute in 2015. before I thought that would be impossible.

Just hope the decision comes down soon and it is positive for him and BBN...If he is allowed to return then #BBN needs to have his back and support him and make him feel like he makes the right choice by returning

Can you say if they are optimistic about returning or if they think it's a long shot. I would think they have a sense of his odds of returning even though they don't know for sure one way or the other.

can't re-enroll until mid-May anyway. can completely understand the frustration, but he's gotta be patient.

wouldnt do him any good if he were cleared to enroll at UK and rejoin the team tomorrow anyway, he isnt a student so he couldnt go join Spring practices or the high performance program.

Seriously though, thanks for the input. Sounds like no one is certain what is going to happen so far, I want a clean program but the powers at UK certainly seem to lean over backwards and then some to avoid any criticism and put us at a big disadvantage at times. I'm really pulling for him.

These kind of things sometimes get pushed under the radar for PR reasons. I could see that happening here, Tubman getting cleared to return to UK but we don't make much of an announcement at that time. Wait until June-July when things are kind of quiet. Just my 2 cents, could be wrong.

I did change it on purpose so people can watch the differences in the way the schools handle these situations a and the way they are covered by the media...UL fans are DYING for Tubman to not be allowed back on campus so they can take him and Chris Jones will more than likely be welcomed back in a heartbeat now(especially after tonight) if he can kiss Benedict's ring enough...
