They saw my post averaging our OOC victories since 2018, with our opponents scoring 16.6 per game?!?!?I got in at -20.5 a few weeks back.
Big swing. What gives?
Yeah, especially considering the confirmed out are 3 of UKs Capts. and 3 of our 5 best players!Missing players confirmed would swing the line
In that case, play the game, tonight in the parking lot of the Truck Stop closest to the midway point of Miami, Ohio and Lexington!Would not shock me at all if 4 of our 7 Capts. aka 4 of our 5 best players are ruled out by kickoff Sat. night.
Hack all this has really tempered the opener for me.In that case, play the game, tonight in the parking lot of the Truck Stop closest to the midway point of Miami, Ohio and Lexington!
I’m not counting losses until the clock says “0.00,” not until the Fat Lady sings . . . not until the cock crows thrice . . . not until the ESPN crew goes to bed . . . not until someone gives me Alyssa Lang’s phone number . . . not until Chris Doering gives up hope!Hack all this has really tempered the opener for me.
We wont win at Florida with all these players out plus the distractions.
Very frustrating.
Because ND is always over rated and the bookies know it.Miami OH is expected to win their division of the MAC and we are missing some guys so as others have said that had to play in it. The bigger question is why #2 OH State is a 17 favorite over #5 Notre Dame. It seems that is a pretty big spread for 2 top 5 teams.
I guess just goes to show how skewed the opinions of the people who vote in the polls are.Because ND is always over rated and the bookies know it.
Preach Brother Hack.... Can I get an Amen for all who agrees as well?I’m not counting losses until the clock says “0.00,” not until the Fat Lady sings . . . not until the cock crows thrice . . . not until the ESPN crew goes to bed . . . not until someone gives me Alyssa Lang’s phone number . . . not until Chris Doering gives up hope!

You need to calm down. We get it, you're nosy and want to know all the details about whats happening with the players. But give it a rest and trust our coaches that are very excited about this team.Hack all this has really tempered the opener for me.

This program needs some good news right about now:
Dude seriously? Why the personal attacks? Im sorry but this crap could derail a very special rb and a very special season. It has nothing to do with being “nosey”.You need to calm down. I didn't say anything the first 20 times you posted about it. But its clear this is all thats on your mind. We get it, you're worried. You don't have comment about the situation on EVERY thread.Dude seriously? Why the personal attacks. Im sorry but this crap could derail a very special rb and a very special season. Gotcha, so lets bury our heads in the sand in hopes that the problem will just vanish. Well guess what? Its not going to. Furthermore, forums where put it place for people to post what they want within reason. Maybe you should become a Mod and ban people because they post about things you get tired of reading so much. Your ancestors aren't of Germany descent are they?I didn't say anything the first 20 times you posted about it. But its clear this is all thats on your mind. We get it, you're worried. Yep, you shoulda waited.I got in at -20.5 a few weeks back.

The guy either needs new meds or a better schtick. He can't seem to get himself straight. he also said "we are loaded!" in a thread yesterday. You need to calm down. I mean if ya wanna Chicken Little, The Sky is Falling, the Sky is Falling, once or twice fine, but not EVERY single thread about the season needs oh NO I don't know how long these players are out, WE'RE GONNA LOSE EVERY GAME! Once or twice would have sufficed to get his point across. The guy either needs new meds or a better schtick. He can't seem to get himself straight. he also said "we are loaded!" in a thread yesterday.
He's a phony.
Never said we would lose every game. But one or two will end any chance at the NC and after watching UK struggle to contend for just that for 40 plus yrs it erks me that a guy with a chance to be the greatest RB in UK history and helpI mean if ya wanna Chicken Little, The Sky is Falling, the Sky is Falling, once or twice fine, but not EVERY single thread about the season needs oh NO I don't know how long these players are out, WE'RE GONNA LOSE EVERY GAME! I doubled down on -16. 😆😆Yep, you shoulda waited.

Truthfully I do not think you have much to worry about. Some alarmism is expressed earlier in the thread. Everyone has a right to their opinion. Mine is not based on who will miss the game, but on who will actually play in the game. Football is a team sport. Miami's offensive unit is for real. With or without CRod, so is ours. Miami's defensive unit is in rebuilding mode after losing a flock of key players in the transfer portal. Our defense should be the difference in the game, since it is probably the strength of our team.I would be extremely disappointed if 10 years into Stoops era, our backups are not better than Miami OH starters by a wide margin.
Their classes since 2019 have been #92, NR (#100 is the max), NR, and #97 this year.
That'd be embarrassing, honestly.
WOW!!! A honest to goodness reasonable post straight to the point, with good common sense.Truthfully I do not think you have much to worry about. Some alarmism is expressed earlier in the thread. The pregame spread does not matter to me because I am not betting on the game. I want us to win, and I hope injuries can be avoided. That is all I ask. I expect Miami will put up a good fight for at least a half. We want that. The following week in Gainesville will go better if our guys get pushed a little bit in the opener.
We are.I'm gonna leave our game alone, if there's moneyline odds I'll probably tack it on in a parlay for the hell of it. I feel like we're going to steamroll them personally.
Horsey is out (injury)and word is another player or two is looped in this “thing”..Missing 3-5 players?? I only heard CROD and J Wright.
They lost to Kent St and Eastern Michigan and a few other random teams...Miami is not a team that should be able to upset an SEC opponent, but they deserve respect. Judging by Stoops' previous history in openers I think this is what we may see tomorrow.
He will not show more of Scan's playbook to SEC scouts than he has to.
Conservative blocking schemes for the Oline for the most part.
Lots of 3-3-5. White will try to pressure Gabbard with the 3 down linemen and the Jack, plus presnap disguising of coverages. I doubt we will see much in the way of innovative blitzing or new coverage schemes in the opener.
Miami will sustain several drives in the 1st half by completing shorter passes, but the explosive plays in the game will mostly be Kentucky's.
Liberal use of younger players, some of whom may not be seen on the field very much in future games this year.
The game will probably appear competitive in the 1st half, and some of our more excitable fans will be angry and critical at halftime.
In the final score, Kentucky will be within one score of the spread, on one side of it or the other.
In the postgame fan chatter, there will be widespread predictions of doom and disaster for the following week in Gainesville.
Just guessing, based on experience.
