Nah. Can't be.Seems like Liam Ciem is doing pretty well as OC for Tampa Bay tonight
Idk if it was the recruiting or the lack of player accountability. Hard to hold people accountable when they can dangle the transfer portal over your head. Make somebody mad and boom goneStill think Coen's dislike for college recruiting lead him back to the NFL.
I think the Dawson argument is no longer relevant. When Dawson was here the program was still in a rough way. It was years away from what it would become. He had no talent to work with and the culture was still bad. If he had come along 5 years later then we may have had something. Same goes for Neal brown. We got them too soon. Bad timingShannon Dawson also seems to being OK.
He’s where he belongs. In the nfl.Seems like Liam Ciem is doing pretty well as OC for Tampa Bay tonight
Not just recruiting. The college game in general.Still think Coen's dislike for college recruiting lead him back to the NFL.
I don't think he was ever fully invested in college football ,he is NFL all the way.Still think Coen's dislike for college recruiting lead him back to the NFL.
Not surprising. He was pretty good as OC for Kentucky.Seems like Liam Ciem is doing pretty well as OC for Tampa Bay tonight
Just like in the NBA, if you can remain gainfully employed in the NFL, you'd have to be nuts to want to coach in college. Not just recruiting. The college game in general.
Not really. He mostly got a pass with so the injuries that year, and was given universal praise in winning a game with Mayfield on super short notice. He could have easily gotten a QB coach job, but wanted to call plays. He was so highly thought of that even after his second stint at KY, he walked right into an OC job.Didn't Liam come crawling back to us with his tail between his legs after flaming out with the defending super bowl champions. I guess Mark stoops is a more explosive, offensively innovative head coach than Sean McVey
