Please let him go to Green Bay, they are my favorite team.Yeah Levis is a pro behind the mic. The camera is made for him. You remember when he first came on the scene he was on The today show for eating banana peels or something....
He belongs in New York or Los Angeles as a QB but I think he will be next quarterback of the Los Angeles Oakland Las Vegas Raiders or the Green Bay Packers surprise everybody and move up and take him. Which they should. I hope to God Almighty they do.
Mine too. I love the Packers more than I love the Wildcats. By a smiggin'Please let him go to Green Bay, they are my favorite team.

Me too.Ugh hope he would refuse to play for that cess pool
He had a good combine. But I'm getting the sense he's now qb4. Richardson is the guy they take on talent.
That is what some are trying to speculate is AR15 is an amazing physical specimen....and I truly don't get picking him even in low first round. He had a good combine. But I'm getting the sense he's now qb4. Richardson is the guy they take on talent.
I want him to go to my Colts lol. At least the Packers may have a decent one in Jordan Love. My colts have nobody. Please let him go to Green Bay, they are my favorite team.
I was a big Colts fan growing up, Johnny U, Earl Morrow, John Mackey, Bubba Smith. Jets broke my heart in I believe 62, Super Bowl III I believe. Broadway Joe.I want him to go to my Colts lol. At least the Packers may have a decent one in Jordan Love. My colts have nobody.
How in the world did AR get this hyped up? What the heck did he do at Florida to suggest he’s a top 10 pick?
Levis is also a guy who I cannot see leading an NFL franchise. I don’t see it. Every year, NFL teams reach on QBs and regret it. I hope I’m wrong as I root for all UK players to do well.
Zach Wilson already got benched in his second year and appears to be done there. Trey Lance is the other one. He didn't even make it two full games this year before a season-ending injury so for his career, he has 5 TDs and 3 INTs and now is in a QB battle with Brock Purdy.Has the guy from BYU done anything, with jrts I think. Another was the guy from North Dakota State. He was big time athlete, big too, drafted very early, top 10 I believe.
It's hard I agree....but Anthony Richardson has been not good at all in limited time his first year and he had the all the snaps last year and wasn't good. He can't throw a 5 yard route consistently accurate.Who is "an absolute stud"? Lots of them fail too!
Justin Fields hasn't shown anything beyond scrambling. Tua is too small and breakable, hello to whoever drafts Young this yr.
College coaches fail to identify great starting qbs, so do the pros. It is a hard job!

He is a flop but I watched Wilsons pro day and it was one of the most spectacular displays of arm talent that I have seen of power , accuracy and anticipation . The tools are certainly there but for whatever reason personality or team ( Jets have destroyed a bunch of Qb’s ) he has become a pariah in New York .It's hard I agree....but Anthony Richardson has been not good at all in limited time his first year and he had the all the snaps last year and wasn't good. I can give some leeway on some fo these QBs that falter....but why anyone thought Zach Wilson was a good bet at #2 pick was nutso. And it sounds like Anthony Richardson is heading to be a top pick as well. If CJ Stroud busts or even a smallish Bryce Young....I get picking them as they excelled in college....but AR15 was a mess mostly last year is all I'm saying.
But again...why in a pro day/NFL combine with no pads, no defenders running at you, no DBs waiting in coverage, usually indoors in pristine conditions, etc...so much more valuable in drafting than actually game play? Zach Wilson wasn't amazing at BYU vs. bad competition....so the Jets were nutso to draft him #2 to begin with. Also, he's only in 2nd year....Jets also have blame to them to not develop players. Same with Geno Smith and Sam Darnold before. He is a flop but I watched Wilsons pro day and it was one of the most spectacular displays of arm talent that I have seen of power , accuracy and anticipation . We've seen the Ravens win two Super Bowls with Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco as their quarterbacks. We just saw the 49ers go to the NFC title game with a 7th-round rookie at QB.With very, very few exceptions, I think the NFL greatly overvalues QB. There are just not enough that can make a difference all by themselves. But, year after year, a team will pony up tens of millions of guaranteed dollars for a QB who is perhaps above average and then wonder why their team is mired in mediocrity while the QB's contract becomes a millstone around the entire organization. There is a direct correlation between winning playoff games and having a pretty good (not a stud, necessarily) QB who is still on his rookie contract. Once that contract runs its course and the team ponies up $20+ million a year, the surrounding cast gets thinned out and, suddenly, it's a lot harder to win with an overpaid QB surrounded by unproven youngsters, past their prime castoffs, etc.
By the same token, teams desperately in need of a QB draft projects at least a round early and find themselves in this continual search for the 'franchise' QB (see Jets, Broncos, et al). As others have said, some of these guys drafted super high haven't really separated themselves while playing in college but, all of a sudden, they're top 5 draft picks because they can jump high or run a fast 40 or throw a ball 65+ yards in laboratory conditions? AR15 could become 'the next big thing' but I think he's at least 2 years away from being able to contribute. And, if he's having trouble completing short passes against Missouri, KY, TN, etc., how is going to fare in the NFL?
I wish Levis all the success in the world. I do think he's got all the physical and mental tools to develop into a solid NFL QB. He's still a ways away, imo, though. Footwork, improving decision making, processing the coverage/reads quicker, etc. are still areas he needs to continue to work on. Because of how NFL groupthink works re: QB, he'll go very high in this draft and, in 5 years, could be another QB who was way overvalued. But, he seems like a hard worker and, if he gets the right coaching and system, could be a very solid QB. Don't think anyone can project who will be a superstar no matter how much a QB is evaluated.

But every year teams need a QB so they will reach despite not an absolute stud being at that spot. Then they act surprised when they fail.
The Ravens did a good job of taking Lamar “Smith” and developing him into Lamar “Jackson”. Not bad.But again...why in a pro day/NFL combine with no pads, no defenders running at you, no DBs waiting in coverage, usually indoors in pristine conditions, etc...so much more valuable in drafting than actually game play? Like the Ravens are a franchise that actually do/can develop a QB. Lamar Smith was far from a finished product (and he still has flaws) but they developed him and gameplanned to his abilities. They did same with Joe Flacco.

They're talking about him because he showed out at pro day lol. He was labeled an athletic freak with an elite arm . GMs see that and his bad habits and think they can coach him upI'm still convinced it's gms falling victim to the endless social media campaign. Ar highlights and talk completely dominate football and especially draft social media. I am firmly convinced his agents are behind it.
It is proving to be a good idea because it's taken a fourth round prospect and moved him comfortably in the first round. Pretty crazy it's working as well as it is, but the proof is in the pudding

Wow I am getting old alot of time between 62 and 69. I believe that was the Superbowl that led to merger of AFL and NFL.That Super Bowl was played in 1969, I was in the Air Force when it was played... Joe Willie Namath looked good in that game...
He made Johnny U look kind of bad that game if I remember correctly... I always liked Johnny U but I didn't care for the Baltimore Colt's at that time...
I was a Packer fan back then.. I also liked the Cowboy's... Dandy Done M was the QB back then and I was a big fan of his... Also liked Tom Landry as one of the best coach's... Of course every one knew who the best coach was then, that wa the Green Bay coach Lombardi...
GBB
Zach Wilson was amazing in college.
33 tds vs 3 ints
74% completion percentage
2nd in pass efficiency
12-1 record.
It wasn't that they drafted on pro day perf.
It's that pro day ”confirmed” the numbers against lesser competition.
Richardson is different.
His workouts are pointing to different production than school.
But also, it's not like these gms think he's a sure thing.
They know he's a gamble.
But one they are now willing to take.
His workouts suggest if he does pan out, hes beyond all the good qbs and is hall of famer.
Especially if he you're picking him after Young and Stroud and only choosing over Levis who's for questions himself.
Meant combine but a lot of mock drafts still had him as a first rounder during the seasonNoone had pro day yet so far as I know. If you meant the combine, he was getting projected in the first round before he ever performed.
