We've got to keep him upright. I hope the passing game is a whole lot more of 3-step drops and fire than double moves, 20 yard patterns that take forever to develop. With the WRs we've got, a quick 8-yard slant could quickly turn into a big play with just one missed tackle or assignment. Can't leave WL back there to get pummeled 5+ times Saturday. He may not finish the season if that happens.
Now, for all that is holy, let's not throw >50% of our passes sideways like we did against USC. Gotta give the D something to think about that's beyond 3 yards of the LOS. We just don't have to compel the OL to hold out the rush for 4-5 seconds every time we decide the throw the ball.

He's had but never takes it.
Him getting rid of the football is an absolute must and a priority even if we have to reverse his reads. He just cannot continue to hold the ball and take unnecessary hits even after he delivers. He will take enough hits as is, so he needs to avoid all he can

Most of those posters are the basketball Calboys that are HOPING that WL pulls a Shaedon Sharpe, or pick a name from the basketball team that have used UK to raise their NBA prospects and cash a boat load of NIL money before shutting down and heading to draft night.
They will head back to RR if WL plays Saturday.
You just can't resist the urge to bash the basketball team. Sharpe is a POS but not sure what other pick a name you are referencing.

The basketball vs football crowd will probably continue to feud but it would be great if it would stop. I get the tension but we really should want both to succeed and stick together. The basketball team has a chance to be great and the football team ‘was’ rolling until a few weeks ago. We just can’t revert back to the Joker days and the basketball team needs to have a big tournament run this year.

This type of post is really uncalled for ! I love both BB and FB and have for over 50 years. I may not be as knowledgeable about FB but I have followed them longer than a lot of people. Very poor post cathouse.

Anyone who questions that kids toughness has an agenda or has not watched WL play his heart out for UK.
I too have supported both programs for more than 50 years. Used to be season ticket holder when I lived close enough to get to the games.
I HATE the animosity between UKBB and UKFB as I love both sports and support both teams.
And will continue to support ALL UK SPORTS regardless of who the coaches are.

i was not one of those who think Will needs to shut it down. He is to much of a warrior to do that.

I'd love to get through this game without Levis to preserve him for the stretch, but we really do need him.
Their DC is incredible and will have him all sorts of confused. He'll take tons of hits from both OL getting beat and just holding the ball due to confusion. Hope we aren't afraid to pull him if we have to.

OL needs heavy heat on them from the coaches to not allow any QB sacks. Maybe ZY does blast them, and if he does, not enough. Time for them to grow up some and grow some pride and toughness.

Also good point about the ranking. I think a lot of people overlook this msu team to an extent. UK has its best team in years then suddenly so does everyone else and every game is a dog fight. Figures.
