Dude is the best in the business, in my opinion. Still can't believe he hasn't won an Oscar. This movie seems like it would be extremely good and Leo would obviously kill the role:

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to play the role of Billy Milligan in the upcoming movie The Crowded Room[/I], and rumor has it that he will be playing up to 24 different personalities.
“The Crowded Room” is an adaptation of nonfiction book The Minds of Billy Milligan, [/I]which tells the story of a man who suffered from dissociative identity disorder and was accused of raping three women on the Ohio State University campus. Milligan was acquitted after his lawyers claimed that two of his alternate personalities committed the rapes he was accused of, making him the first person to successfully use dissociative identity disorder as a defense. Milligan died in 2014, at the age of 59.
DiCaprio will also be producing the movie alongside Jennifer Davisson and Alexandra Milchan through his company Appian Way.

Nothing better than a feel-good tale of a psycho who made up other personalities to get himself out of rape charges. Should be a winner!

Also - I've never understood the DiCaprio sack swinging. He's not a terrible actor by any stretch, but the people who fawn over him because he hasn't won an Oscar really irritate me. When the guy has a performance worthy of an Oscar that isn't overshadowed by someone else's (generally a much better actor's) performance that year, I guess he'll win one? Until then, do better?

I like a lot of his movies but could care a less that he hasn't won an Oscar. That said, I do admire his lifestyle as he slays some serious tail. Good for Leo.

At least Leo tries other characters. I'm pretty sure Denzel, while a great actor, has been the same character in every movie since 1992. He was blind in that one flick, I guess.

Thought he was "in character" as Gilbert Grape...in fact that's the name I usually call him. He stunk in Titanic, but then again, that was a horrible movie....a perfectly good tragedy and they make it into a romance with Gilbert Grape as the leading man...go figure.

Since then I've seen a few of his movies. He's not the best, but he's not bad.

Don't know that I care about his acting one way or another. But I do like his taste in scripts. Him and brad Pitt end up in a lot of movies I really like.

Leo did some great movies.

- The Aviator
- Blood Diamond
- The Departed
- Inception
- Gangs of New York
- Catch Me If You Can
- Gilbert Grape
- Shutter Island
- This Boys life
- Basketball Diaries

Wolf of Wall Street and The Beach were not bad either. Dude has done some good stuff. Wouldn't mind talent like him winning one instead of guys you'll never get another good performance from like Adrian Brody, the guy from The Attist, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Raymine.

He's a good actor, with classic looks, a great agent, and a good feel for what audiences will want to see. He has very rarely turned up in a bad movie, and has never picked a role he couldn't handle. Why some actors can't do a better job picking scripts I will never understand. Some of these actors and actresses constantly pick terribly boring or strange films that no one wants to see.

He was phenomonal in the Basketball Diaries.

Leo should have quit while he was ahead. Its been all down hill since leaving Seaverville but he still looks just as manly.

He was Arnie Grape the water tower climber who made his water buffalo mom come get him out of jail. Edward Scissorhands was Gilbert who had a thing for Mallory from Natural Born Killers plus some old broad.

I saw where someone suggested he do a movie about an actor that never wins an oscar.

Thanks for the correction, Lexie's Dad. The best thing about that movie was Julliett Lewis...

I love that movie. Lewis plays the same bat-ish crazy broad in every movie, just to a different level. I like the part where mom is so touching fat they have to give her a viking funeral.
