It is sad. Far be it for anyone to tell another when it's time to retire, but somebody who cares about this guy needs to do so. It's a shame and difficult to watch.

They have been using him sparingly for the past couple years. This is probably so important to him but the major health issues he had a few years ago are taking their toll. I have a feeling this will be his last year and his final pick this year will be a huge deal and celebration.

Started being noticeable last year. Loveable guy. Hope it is handled well for both sides.

Wasn't he once the coach at IU? Never a fan, but it's always sad to see a beloved man start to deteriorate before our eyes. Sadly it's a part of life for some lucky enough to live it rather well for so long. Hey Dickie V, you should take note. Retire now, before this happens to you.

Yes,he did coach IU to a Rose bowl.

Corso is like your crazy uncle, you love being around him, but you never know what is coming out of his mouth.

Corso and Vitale should do a radio show together...now that would be a sight to hear/see if it was televised on ESPNU or something.

First time I saw Corso, he was Lou coach and was riding a circus elephant on 2nd and Central in Louisville. He was a clown. The circus was unloaded from a train and a number of Louisville celebs were participating in the parade. Go Cats!!

No, he didn't lead the Hoosiers to the Rose Bowl, that was John Pont back in the 1967 season. Corso followed Pont in '73 and stayed there thru the '82 season. He was at UofL from '69-'72.

Is there a law against sick people earning a living? He still has more personality than the other jokers up there.

I stand corrected it was Pont who led Isenberger and the boys to the Rose bowl.
