Leaders In Sec!!

AVG PPG...
GA. 41.8
ALA 43.1
ut. 49.4
MISS 37.4
LSU. 35.2 VS
UK. 23.9 with 18.4 in SEC
It's not Jimmies and Joes folks!!! It's xs and os and philosophy. UK has EXCELLENT talent on offensive side, but minus a HC and staff that knows how to scheme to score .
You have to be the most miserable person in the world.

UK will NEVER win big games with an offensive philosophy that strives to score the FEWEST points possible to win.

It really is MIND BOGGLING to see in 2022. Heck even Saban and Smart(2 of the best defensive minds in college football) FINALLY realized that scoring 35-40 pts/game is a MUST to win at a high level. So did Bob Stoops!!!

Why can't Mark Stoops see this???!!!!

Totally out of his comfort zone and his personality/perspective of how college football should be played. Stuck in the 80's. Can't get out. DNA.

What did he say that you disagree with? Sunshine pumpers are no better fans than ones who call it like they see it
I mean overall. No one is happy about the game. But this dude is negative on every post he makes on the paddock.

Will he not listen to his older brother?

Heck, Heupel was Bob's QB when he won the freakin National Championship!!!! Mike Leach was his OC!!!

The spread offense is the MOST successful in college football. Until Mark realizes you need as many points as possible to win big, UK will NEVER get to an SEC Title game. The offense in today's game has ALL of the advantages, especially with defensive Holding, Pass Interference and Targeting.

We have talent but just in spots. OL is down this year. Just shows why that is the most important position in the game. If we had last few year's OL, we're probably still undefeated.

Next year QB and RB will be the holes. Can we fill them in the portal? QB should be no issue. RB could get iffy

First 3 ocs he hired were all spread passing attacks.

No. He will NOT take advice from Bob.

I heard Tom Leach ask CMS that very question on one of the call in shows and Stoops was very indignant about even being asked that question. He told Tom that it was HIS program and HE didn't want or need any advice from any of his brothers on how to run HIS team.

That HE had TOO MUCH input on dictating what and how they ran it.

Also, None of those other OC's had this level of talent to work with.

May be but that wasn't the previous post.

Coen had this level talent. The OL is the most important unit in offense and he had a great unit.

People forget as great as coen was, offense looked pretty bad last year most of the time.

Then what has happened to the development of John Young, Buford, Goodwin, etc. We have several 4 stars that haven't progressed. Heck, we have had several young O-Linemen play early and contribute. Why not these kids?

Sometimes kids don’t reach the potential they seem to have.

Ouch...never heard that one.

Development? Hardly any OL backups saw the field last year. That's the huge issue. We had Dare leave early, which killed both us and him. We started this season with new starters at all 5 positions. That's a recipe for struggle.

The staff continues to press Burton into a starting position though he doesn't deserve it. They should've begged Dotson back but instead pushed him out the door in their rush to get Jager in the lineup.

So really the OL should've been Dare, horsey, Cox, Dotson, and flax. OL is much better if that happened.

Even still, OL played way better than anyone gave them credit for. Most of their perceived issues are actually QB or rb issues, but fans can't tell the difference. MSU was a great game for them. UT is a step back but hard to say if it truly was or if it was more QB and RB issues, since they were doing well till crod gets hurt.

You can not be serious...undefeated?

I said probably. Our d played well enough to beat UT. Cant have endless turnovers and 3 and outs. Yes I think we probably beat UT if we had the OL I posted.

At worst, they'd be our only loss.

OL ain't sexy but they are the most important unit on offense especially in the road.
