I really like this Chad Wallach. Suarez isn't a bad looking prospect either. I guess the starting rotation is gonna look like this

Cueto
Bailey
Leake
Cingrani
A fifth starter to be named later

Ah, eff it, who cares. They were trending down anyways. Gonna be a long year to be a Reds fan if Bailey doesn't step up his game and the offense doesn't find a way to get on base more.

My thoughts as well. I really like the Simon deal. I really don't like the Latos deal, but if it frees up $ to sign a LF that can hit, and maybe one more infielder that can platoon and hit, it may be a good deal in the long run. Latos never really pitched like a guy that was worth 4 players, to be frank.

Okay on letting Simon go.

But someone tell me why trading Latos couldn't have waited until near the trading deadline? Durability?

Jocketty says he needed to dump salary, two weeks after saying they don't have to dump salary.

I don't agree that they are dumping salary. They are freeing up salary so they can go spend some money to get some damn hitting. (At least that is what I am hoping.

Here is what I think, I believe Walt is going actually make some deals at the ASB this year and make a run with this team because the window is closing. If they don't at least make playoffs and maybe win a round he will blow this thing up and it will be drastic.
