But its time to get behind the Football Team today! Football is loved at Kentucky just as much as basketball - it hasn't had the success - but the fan support and love of this school has always been here! I can remember filling Commonwealth stadium and holding season tickets in the top row where the press boxes are now - and the fans who sat all around me loved UK then - even when we constantly would win 2, 3 or 4 games or less! So, I want the football team to know that we have always been here and we support them - win or lose - but it's sure great to see a competent team and have hopes to actually winning every time we take the field now !
