Lame Zion chant by USCjr fans

I can't understand why PJ Dozier and Sindarius Thornwell were allowed to be with Zion and Frank Martin. They're both in the NBA now and I didn't think that was allowed. I could be wrong though.

pro players can hang out with college kids asking as they don't do anything against NCAA rules. Diallo was playing pickup with Lebron and Melo a few weeks ago

He got to see as many USCjr football fans last night at Williams-Brice that show up for basketball all season. If you're a basketball star who's gonna attend a footbal school, don't attend a bad football school, where's the fun in that?

I was at the game and sat two rows in front of ZW. I'm actually in the video (Black Hat and Grey Shirt). I coach football in Georgia and had 5 of our players on a visit to USC. First, what an incredible atmosphere. USC knows how to get in to a football game. ZW didn't seem to really be into it there. USC isn't going to get him. I looked back there at him several times just observing and he seemed a bit bored. Every coach and every player took turns sitting with him during the game. They left mid way through the fourth quarter and there was a louder "we want ZION" chant when they left. He is a big, thick dude.

Yeah, Drake shooting an airball has really hurt UK's recruiting.

On the flip side, Kansas getting bounced in the second round every year has made them a powerhouse.

Ha! I didn't say it hurt your recruiting. Just that it was lame. Unless you thought Drake thought it was an awesome look to toss an airball in warm-ups? Said another way, I'm embarrassed for Drake in much the same way I'm embarrassed for USC fans who did that chant.

KU fan thinks Drake is lame, OK. UK fan thinks Insane Clown Posse or whatever you have rapping at your midnight madness is lame. So does everyone else in the world.

The fact you're dumb enough that you think Drake, let alone anyone, thinks it was a good look to toss an airball, is a good explanation as to why you keep creeping on this board.

And guess what? Drake is a rapper. Not a pro basketball player. Who gives a f*ck if he throws an airball. It's probably why he's still rapping and not trying out at the combine up to this point. It's like the same people who get upset when non MLB players throw a bad ceremonial first pitch.

Yeah we shut their stupid obnoxious fans up real quick. Great atmosphere? We made them turn into sheep.

That was awful and will probably push Zion to another school. The worst thing I've ever seen is Drake's airball.

The worst thing I ever saw was a Ku fan that THOUGHT they were smart .

Nah, the USC jr fans were still rolling until we got that last field goal. I would love to see Commonwealth Stadium rock every Saturday like that place did.

Holy shit.. hanging your hat on the world's most popular rapper missing a basketball shot as a reason why our Midnight Madness will fail? That's like hating on someone for only hanging out with 5 Victoria Secret Models instead of 6.

I can't wait to put you on blast when Kentucky starts landing these guys.

Was this directed to me? I didn't say your midnight madness will fail. Only a fool would say that. I said watching Drake miss that 3 was hard to watch.

I see you may have been talking about the chant, regardless.. what did Drake's airball have to do with any of this? Why did it even need to be mentioned?

Was drawing a parallel between how embarrassing that chant was to how embarrassing it was to watch Drake shoot an airball. Seeing Self come out for Late Night a few years ago dressed like a pimp was also embarrassing to watch.

Comparing a coach purposely dressing like a pimp to a rapper missing a shot is almost the same as comparing a Big12 Title to a National Title.

Good lord.. you guys really are delusional

I think the difference is that USC jr chant should be embarrassing to their fan base, while Drake's air ball should only be an embarrassment to Drake himself.

That's not at all what you were getting at. Kentucky fans were talking about an ill-advised fan chant, and somehow you felt the need to bring up a rapper missing a 3-pointer as some means to check us.

I'll take drake air balling 100 shots over our coach playing kindergarten dress-up. Our banners would agree.

The fact Drake was there to shoot an airball does more on a recruiting visit than anything KU and Self has showed lately with recruiting classes. These kids aint dumb. If Drake could knock down every shot from deep, he might be playing for money instead of rapping. The only thing Drake could do on one of our recruiting visits that might hurt Kentucky with a kid is admitting he had KU going to the final four on his bracket instead of second round upset. Any recruit would know the dude had no clue about basketball and probably canceled at that moment.
