Lakers want KAT

I hope it's Minnesota so Cal can keep stacking the deck on the recruiting trail.

I'm pretty sure that I have seen written, somewhere at some time, that Okafor had publicly stated, point blank, that he will not sign with Minnesota. Did I dream that? Can someone confirm that you've also seen that reported? If so ... what makes this complicated?

Of course, I can't think of anything that would please me more than for the 'Wolves to draft Okafor, for him to refuse to sign, for the 'Wolves to refuse to trade him, and for Okafor to thus miss the whole season - while KAT goes to the Lakers and becomes Rookie of the Year and in all ways leaves Okafor (and Duke) in the dust.

The Lakers have nothing to lose trading up for KAT. Throwing in Swaggy P along with the #2 pick and maybe a late first round pick wouldn't hurt Lakers one bit if they think KAT is that much better than Okafor. Makes sense to me.

Just use any word you want. Highlight it. At the top of the reply box the 7th icon from the left. Select it and insert the url you want linked.
Thanks . . . I meant more when you are starting a thread. When I want to post a thread, I click on the link icon at the top, which allows you to post the url, and then the only options are "insert" or "preview". So how do you do it in an original post?

Some of the talking heads on ESPN brought the possibility up, and his agent shut it down saying that being the #1 overall pick (even in Minnesotsa) is the goal
